    Extremely dissapointed.

    I bought my IPad with a white case on Nov, 10, 2018 and after 6 months the sides were separated, the top and bottom edges began to wrinkle and the surface to bleach appearing big stains; in short, the deterioration was very fast; so, after that time,I bought a new one, charcol gray, and the result was the same, after 6 months it was as deteriorated as the white one; it’s an excess the price of this stuff of such low quality, I am extremely dissapointed.

    Poor quality

    As stated by other reviewers, the quality of the cover is very poor. Although i like the design, especially having an integrated back cover and the magnetic back is excellent, spending 99 dollars on a cover that falls apart within a couple of months, is not what i had in mind. The seams of the corners let loose after two months and now it is totally falling apart. Would not recommend.

    Why hasn't someone at Apple test driven this in the real world

    The star is for the Folio but here are some random thoughts. Just bought my 4th (and probably last Ipad) a 12.9" and looking for a case but reading between the lines there are a lot of disgruntled purchasers here. You wonder if real people test drive these things. Over $2K for a product and I cannot get a case/cover that will protect the thing and that has some style. The Apple keyboard case I looked at purchasing doesn't protect the edges of the product, like this Folio, and allows no place to store the pencil that is secure, at $300AUD, come on!! this is just crazy. I'll pay money for a good product but there are too many negatives here, and this 'smart folio' is another example of how this company is missing Steve Jobs. Sadly, Apple has run its course I think, and I say that as I go back to an Apple IIe. Even its multiport USBc connector I looked at purchasing in tandem with the 12.9" has detractors who have found the product not working in all three ports or not working after a period of time. That is simply a quality issue which should not occur with such an expensive product. I bought the iPad on a whim, and have been disappointed with some of the issues being raised, am hoping it will be half as good as my still working ipad pro, Air and original. End of negative thoughts, hoping for sunshine in two days when delivered. Buyers Remorse, no way!

    Poor design and expensive

    The silicon material scratches and bruised easily. Less than 2 days of extremely careful handling and use (without even putting it into a bag to carry around), the outside of the folio is already covered in unsightly blemishes, looking battered, that are simply impossible to remove. In addition, the keyboard appears to have already imparted a permanent scratch to my iPP screen. Considering how expensive this is, I would have expected it to be made of a better material and, not to mention, the keyboard design that scratches despite handing my new iPP with extreme care!

    Poor Quality

    For $99 the quality of the folio should be phenomenal, but there are signs of discoloration on the front and the back in the form of giant patches.

    Sharp edges and overpriced.

    I just bought a 12.9 inch IPP and this cover, and it’s easly the most uncomfortable iPad cover I’ve ever used. What were they thinking? That we want to hold a heavy device with razor sharp edges all day long? Seriously, you could slice veggies with this thing. Maybe that’s why they’re charging a hundred bucks for it. Total miss by Apple, Mine is going back.

    Lack of Protection and Overpriced

    The iPad isn't fully covered with this case. It feels like two thick sheets of paper one each side. I would wait for a 3rd party Folio with better protection. I regret spending $100 on this case.

    Falling Apart

    The sides of the cast have begun separating after only one month of use, exposing the white plastic that forms the folding portion of the case. Extremely disappointed.

    I travelled 40 miles to purchase one of the new iPad Pro 12.9 models. To say i was disappointed with the cover is an understatement.
    I have 2 iPad Air 2’s and the covers are great. They are covered by leather on all sides. I was expecting the same for the latest cover but sadly no. I cannot comprehend why you should bring a silicone cover out that has uncomfortable sharp edges. Maybe Apple think you will buy it any way and then update to the leather when there is one available. I do not trust Apple anymore, it is a shame.
