    Same issues over again

    • Written by Nathan F from Sandy

I am on my second pair and they have stopped working just like the first. They disconnect themselves after a few minutes and then wont turn back on or connect for hours even after resets and everything. It's bad because they're super comfortable.

    Headphones do not work

    • Written by Erlan S from Kostanay

    Headphones do not work.

I have two pairs of these headphones. And both do not work. Some headphones bought in 2017, others in 2018, a special edition (10 year anniversary)

One pair simply does not turn on, the other blinks 3 times and also turns off. Under warranty, unfortunately, nothing can be solved in our country.

It’s a pity, maybe in your countries these headphones are not expensive, but here they are very expensive and I’m very disappointed with this product. I did not know what could be the matter with your company.

    Terrible

    • Written by Torin B from Auckland

My experience with BeatsX has been terrible. They work well for about 3 months, and then break. I’ve had mine replaced twice, and am now on my third pair of headphones which I don’t want. Upon trying to swap them out instead of being replaced, I was given a box with brand new headphones that cannot be sold because they put replacements in a different box to ones given to resale stores, therefore sticking me with the unsatisfactory product with no choice to get my money back. For the price that it costs to buy this, it is extremely underwhelming and not even near worth it. Trust me, spend the money on other headphones, because you won’t get your money’s worth with these. If I could rate it lower than one star I would.

    Very good

    • Written by Jaspreet L from Montreal

I've had the BeatsX for ~10 months. I've used them in -20 degrees Celsius and extreme heat. They work flawlessly. Noise isolation is remarkable and wireless connectivity with iOS is stellar, using the built-in W1 chip. - You don't need to raise the volume due to the great noise isolation. It does not leak sound so surrounding people cannot hear your music. - I've enjoyed them a lot and never had a single issue.

    Disappointed

    • Written by Marcella P from Sanford

I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed my beats X when they worked. I'm a big fan of beats because I have the beats solo, powerbeats 3 and then I got the beats X when they first came out and I was ecstatic. I enjoyed my first pair for a few months (bought brand new) then they quit working and a replacement was sent by apple. That was great, got the replacements and they've worked almost a year and now they just quit working. I bought them for work outs and because they are wireless mainly. I doubt I will buy another pair since these just don't last long like I wish they would. And now that I'm out of warranty, they want me to pay $79 for a replacement that's not even a new pair with a 60 day warranty. Ummm, 60 days isn't long enough, and with that kind of deal, I mine as well buy a new pair for $99 and get a 2 year warranty. Electronics just don't last long like they use to. Waste of money.I will go to Bose for my next pair of wireless buds.

    Very Lucky

    • Written by Gerald T from Lachine

After having purchased these earphones just over a year ago, I think its safe to write an honest review. After reading all of the reviews to date, I consider myself very lucky! I work in a very dusty environment and they're hanging around my neck for most of the day being banged around when not in my ears (I also use them as ear protection at work). They have never failed me once, for the amount of times they got wet from sweat or full of dust (I'm a carpenter) being banged around and accidentally pulled on, they still sound amazing! The only issue that I notice is that I can't work a full 8 hour shift with them now, I'm getting around 6 hours out of them, but after a 5 minute charge, I'm good to go for the rest of the day. And I use them every night before bed for an hour or 2 so they're getting a good work out, I'm not looking forward to the day when they finally do fail, because they are the best sounding earphones I've had to date and little work horses as well.

I had to replace it during warranty because the I was listening a bumpy noise. After they replace it and the 1 year warranty was over, the phone just stopped working, apparently due to a battery issue. And the only thing I can do it now is to give it back to Apple, so they can recicle it.

    Disappointed

    • Written by C B from North Vancouver

BeatsX worked well for the better part of a year. An occasional reset was needed to deal with volume issues on one side. Despite careful use and storage they stopped working completely just when the warranty had expired. Service costs to repair the suspected battery failure are so high that a new pair of earphone seems to be the better alternative. Won’t Be BeatsX.

Broke right after the first year.

    • Written by Shen-Yu T from New Brunswick

I bought this around $150 right before Apple decided to cut the price. I don't use this daily with my iPhone 6s (4-5days a week). It was still working in the afternoon, but when I got home it cannot be turn on so I charge it until the red light turns into white. However, when I powered it on it blinks while light 3 times and turns off. Now it doesn't even want to charge anymore... I recently swapped to a iPhone Xs; therefore, I cannot charge my phone and listen to music + play games anymore.

The good and bad news, and a bit of amazing news

    • Written by Elisa N from Great Barrington

I have two of these, one black, one silver. They give the best quality for voice calls of the headsets I've had and are relatively comfortable to wear, even with my small ears. The bad news is that neither holds a charge for long and can give out right in the middle of a call, which can cause problems with my computers with certain applications and disturb the flow of conversations. And sometimes, they will make their connect/disconnect sound for no reason in the middle of usage, which is stressful. The amazing news is that one of them went through the wash and after I took it out of the washing machine and let it dry out until the next day, it worked perfectly! A couple of improvements I could suggest: put the microphone closer to the face as I sometimes have to hold it up to be heard on certain calls and it has a tendency to get caught inside of jacket collars, causing noise on the call or difficulty being heard, and also, mark the charging port and on-off button in a contrasting color, as, especially on the black one, these can be hard to locate.

Lose connectivity, and lose sound on the right earphone

    • Written by John H from MIAMI

So, I've had these earphones for about a year now. within the first 3 months, I had to send them in because I was getting no sound when I would connect to my iPhone. After getting a refurbished pair, they worked for about 6 months. I then had the same issue and called apple. the lady seemed annoyed as I'm sure many others were having problems. finally, she told me to do a reset, software update and jump through a few other hoops. luckily it worked. fast forward another 2 months and here we go again. I've tried the reset thing and still no sound from the right bud. I will definitely buy cheaper/generic buds next time.

    Great Product

    • Written by Oscar R from Christchurch

These are the most resilient headphones I’ve ever used: I’ve wet them, dropped them, squished them and they still work perfectly. Might I add, the sound quality is phenomenal and charge lasts for a stupid long time. Well worth the price.

    Great

    • Written by Claudia P from Mississauga

I just bought these on Saturday and I am in love with them. These are better than I thought. I had another pair of wireless earphones (another brand) and they constantly skip even at a full charge. These do NOT skip and the microphone works great.
The battery lasts about 6 hours which is pretty good.

    Broken after meticulous care

    • Written by Daniel T from Lexington

I enjoyed the sound and convenience of these headphones for around a year and a half when all of a sudden they stopped powering on. There is a short in the wiring. I contacted Apple, and they wanted to charge me an $85 service fee. Beats/Apple directs the user to wrap the headphones around themselves to store them in their silicone case. I did this religiously. I can only infer these headphones are broken from my seemingly careful attentiveness to see that they were stored correctly. Will not buy again, and I also suggest you look elsewhere.

I received a free pair of these with a new iPad. They worked for a year in my office and I did not take them anywhere. They are not very durable. BeatsX earphones are cheaply made. I would not recommend this product, and I received it for free! Spend your $150 elsewhere.
