    Try something else.

I’m on my second one of these and I wouldn’t waste my money again. The plastic spine has torn away in exactly the same place. It’s obviously a weakness in the design. Very disappointed.

    Originally quite good, now poor

Recently purchased as an identical replacement. New cover does not have strong enough magnets on the flap to hold against gravity and the friction with the screen is not as good. Also with the weaker magnet the iPad no longer reliably auto-sleeps and wakes. It flaps off so easily that it is now a nuisance. Comparing A to B with the existing (torn) cover the version manufactured 05/2019 is absolutely disappointing.

I do not recommend purchasing this. Originally I would say it was 4.5 stars and lasted 3 years under daily use. This one isn’t worth keeping and will be returned.

    Good and bad

The leather portion held up well. The plastic part tore and then the cover itself began to come apart. The old style, made entirely of leather, was much better. The quality and durability of this cover is poor. The price is still up there, though.

    Waste of money

Only covers screen so back is unprotected so can still be damaged.
Complete waste of money and poor design.
    Description should make this clear

Fantastic selection of the materials. Soft leather/silicon feel, great colour, lightweight. Very strong magnets, makes holding iPad nice and easy after folding and unfolding and protects one side nicely when closed. Meaning: iPad in use, you have that extra soft touch and pleasant, when holding, back grip, Ipad non in use, place it on face and then it is well protected both the case (hard side to surface) and iPad. Cover folds to stand on BOTH DIRECTIONS IN ROBUST WAY AS FOR OVERALL SYSTEM MASS MAGNETS ARE STRONG ENOUGH meaning you can have soft or hard external surface of the stand so you can protect that cover internal from surface dirt. Ipad mini is lightweight and does not need overall folio style protection, and with that cover it retains its graceful design. TOP
