      Bose QC20

Yes, it's a lot of money for a pair of earbuds, but if you travel a lot especially on airplanes they are great. I can't say the sound quality is in that price Yes, it's a lot of money for a pair of earbuds, but if you travel a lot especially on airplanes they are great. I can't say the sound quality is in that price range, but it's more than just about the sound. They are lightweight, not bulky like over the ear noise canceling headsets. They come in a small pouch which is easier to carry than the larger headsets. The silicone ear cups are very comfortable (comes with 3 sizes). They are compatible with both android and iphones, but make sure you get the QC20i if you have an iphone (no extra cost). Battery life is good. You don't have to use the noise canceling feature if just listening to music, but it is better that way. If you are not listening to music, but just want some quiet time you can do that too. I would have given them 5 stars if they were not so expensive.

      Expensive but....

Bought these because I'm living and working abroad in an extremely noisy country - day and night. Yes, they are expensive but they saved my sanity. I've since moved location but there are still times when they are 'essential for me. Other than the noise cancelling feature they are also good quality earbuds and comfortable to wear. I must have odd shaped ears since Apple earphones simply drop out. Finally, travelling back to uk entails two flights. I rarely sleep but I do watch the in-flight movies and using the supplied adaptor I can use my Bose earbuds in place of the tacky airline supplied earphones and of course, with the noise-cancelling, flight time is really quiet. They really do work.

Extremely comfortable, Excellent noise cancellation, very good sound.

I've had these for about a week and I'm extremely pleased. I'm not an audiophile but I am discriminating and I think they sound great. Excellent base and detail I've had these for about a week and I'm extremely pleased. I'm not an audiophile but I am discriminating and I think they sound great. Excellent base and detailed sound. Not quite as clear as Shure se215s but close enough. And once you factor in comfort and noise cancellation, these are by far my favorite phones. I use them to run and they are extremely comfortable and stable in my ears. I can't say that about any other headphones and I've tried many over the years. If you tried and like Bose SoundSport earphones the fit is virtually identical. Be aware, the power brick is a bit large and can bounce around. It needs to be tucked into an arm band, otherwise I'd be worried the tugging will eventually damage the cable. But over all they seem very solidly built. Cable is thick enough to be sturdy, but not too thick. Controls are also solid and centrally placed instead of on the right side cable so they don't pull unevenly. Haven't tested out the mic yet. Noise cancellation is impressive: in the gym on a treadmill I can't hear anything but my music. No conversations, no machine noises. I weigh 200 lbs: I can't hear my footfalls on the treadmill AT ALL. Nothing! I can hear all the detailed background in my music that I'd been missing. They are expensive but so far I'm very pleased.

The noise cancellation is very impressive, and unlike all the noise isolating earbuds I've used they are not fussy about how they're positioned in your ears. You just put them in, turn them on, and it all works. They are also quite comfortable, and the sound quality is really good with the noise cancellation turned on.

When I need to focus on the click track I can turn on the noise canceling feature and get rid of all of the stage sounds. If I am just grooving, the clip on the cord makes wearing just one ear bud easy and hassle free. They stay in great and the sound keeps up to the Bose name. To me they were well worth the money and exactly what I needed
