Being Christmas time, I decided to get two of these switches to plug my Christmas trees into so I wouldn't have to go downstairs or upstairs to turn them off when I'm cozy in bed. The setup could not have been easier, simply plug them in, download the app, put in the serial number of the device and done. Works great with Siri and HomeKit. Now I say "Hey Siri, turn off my Big Christmas Tree" and she does! Love this!

      Works!

I purchased two of these units and they work well. Easy set up, good integration with HomeKit, and good Bluetooth range. Will be getting more!

My main use for these is as internet controlled switches. These plugs integrate straight into iOS. I have an apple tv4 and remote control from outside my network works fine. Siri commands work fine, and quickly. I like the ability to be able to switch multiple sockets on and off at once. I like the simple-but-powerful timer functionality, and especially the sunset and sunrise events which act as a photo diode substitute. Bit expensive maybe, but the potential they give for automating a whole house is incredible.

      Occasionally this works

When it turns on and off this product is ok. Sadly it just doesn’t repeat this. User interface isn’t smart. It’s in the bin after 6 weeks.

Then worse it would fail to turn off, so we would wake up sweltering. When I tried to connect to see what was going on, it would report “No Response” but then randomly start responding again. I decided to remove it and happened to touch the pins AFTER it was fully unplugged. I received a painful electric shock. I see that this has been reported by other users as well. Mine is now in the e-waste. This product is dangerous and should be removed from sale.

      Died after 3 months

Garbage product, died after 3 months and shocks you if you touch the mains pins after removal.
