I love that it has an adjustable kickstand, backlit keys, and easily detaches from the keyboard. What I find sorely disappointing is the hard plastic they used. In this day of soft-touch plastics, I'm surprised they chose this hard, cheap-feeling material. I currently use a 9.7 pro with Apple's silicon case and their keyboard. I love caring that thing around - feels so good in the hand! The function of Logitech's slim-combo is a winner, so I'll be keeping it. I just wish they'd made a different choice in the material.

And heavy. If you're used to using Logitech's keyboard case for the 9.7 ipad pro, get ready for something that feels much bigger and heavier. It kinda sorta defeats the purpose of an ipad if it's in a case with a keyboard that makes it bigger -- or at the very least heavier -- than a Macbook Air. Make no mistake: the keyboard works flawlessly and there is merit to the multi-piece configuration, but this is by no means slim.

Not sure if I love the materials on this. The hard plastic seems a little cheap. I've only had it for a day so I can't speak to durability. Love the backlit keyboard for nighttime blogging.

I have come to expect better from Logitech as I’ve never had an issue with their products before, but this is just ridiculous.

If you search the on Logitech forum you will find that this problem has been ongoing since Ocotober 2017. Apart from this fault it is a good case and looks professional but until this problem is sorted I would stay away from it.

When carrying, the case halves can separate, leaving you holding the keypad case and the iPad case falling, bouncing off the floor. Then the iPad ejected from the protective case. Another issue is the outer case of the iPad half does not have non-slip grip pads and is insanely slippery. If sitting on a smooth surface like a granite countertop, it can easily slide. Its friction defying properties would impress a Tribologist. The kickstand does not have secure stop points. On upper angles, it can collapse closed from the pressure of taping the screen, with the slippery iPad half of the case dropping to the counter top with forward momentum, sliding off the counter top and ejecting the iPad. My other iPad is 4 years old, no screen cracks, still works. The Logitech Slim Combo case design flaws contributed to a cracked screen in less than 4 weeks with the new iPad.
