      Noisy and pricey

      As pricey as this device is, I expected a more refined device beyond its looks. The disk its constantly making a distracting clunking noise as it seeks. A much less expensive WD My Book device is quieter and fast enough for most applications.

      Bought 2 of these, both were DOA. Bought a 8TB GRaid (made up of 2 of these 4TB drives) also had one drive fail out of box. What's going on G Tech? First time i Bought 2 of these, both were DOA. Bought a 8TB GRaid (made up of 2 of these 4TB drives) also had one drive fail out of box. What's going on G Tech? First time in 10+ years I've had dead drives. Be warned, must be a dud batch of 4TB's out there...
