      Good, Solid Product

Unit is fast and easy to use. Although it is a little pricey for the storage provided, it makes up for it in build quality and size.

      So far excellent!

I've had the drive for a couple of months now and works nice, not an amazing transfer speed but it's well built and nicely compatible.

Recently, I transferred 2.5 GB of data on a Windows machine from one of these Type-C drives to a Type-A SanDisk Ultra. Both the Type-C and the Type-A felt hot, and the Type-C was noticeably hotter to the touch. For kicks, I pulled out an infrared thermometer. The Type-C registered 99-105 deg. F, the Type-A, surprisingly, registered 101-110 deg. F.!! I'm thinking that the Type-C is actually more efficient at transferring heat in comparison to the plastic-body Type-A, and hence felt hotter than it really was. As for the transfer speeds, they ranged from 150 KBs to 25 MBs, as displayed by the Windows file transfer utility. If I do a transfer like this on the MacBook, and can edit this review, I'll update. From a design standpoint, these Type-C drives are compact enough that they are more likely than competing designs to fit in tightly-spaced USB-C ports when other ports are occupied.

Doesn't fit in the Mac USB Type-C ports

The USB Type-C part of this flash drive doesn't fit in the USB Type-c ports of my MacBook Pro, it does not reach to the end of the Type-C port and I didn't want to forced. So, I couldn't mount it through its Type-C portion. The lumen of any USB Type-C cable or adaptor from Apple, is clearly different from the lumen of this this USB Type-C flash drive. It came in the Mac OSX Extended forma (journaled)t, so I had to formatted to FAT, after connecting the flash drive USB Type-A end to the adapter from Apple. However, even in FAT format, it was not recognized by my printer/scanner. In conclusion, this pendrive doesn't work as intended, doesn't fit in the Mac Type-C ports of the Mac, there is no difference with any flash drive that has only the Type-A connector, and is a lot more expensive.
