      Doesn't work.

Literally didn't work for any application. Didn't power anything. Didn't work for connecting my monitor. Didnt work with external hard drive. My apple thunderbo Literally didn't work for any application. Didn't power anything. Didn't work for connecting my monitor. Didnt work with external hard drive. My apple thunderbolt 3 cable worked and a random cable that I bought via amazon worked. This belkin cable is a no.

Mine only runs at 0.3 Gbps not 40 like advertised

Paid a premium $119 for a cable that's supposed to run at 40Gbps but I get 0.3Gbps on either my iMac Pro or 2019 15" MacBook Pro. I keep getting disappointed by Paid a premium $119 for a cable that's supposed to run at 40Gbps but I get 0.3Gbps on either my iMac Pro or 2019 15" MacBook Pro. I keep getting disappointed by Belkin. This one is going back.

Cables work flawlessly and appear to be of very high quality

So, I bought two of these cables, one to connect one monitor to the other and another to connect to my laptop. I own two Samsung Ultra Wide Thunderbolt monit So, I bought two of these cables, one to connect one monitor to the other and another to connect to my laptop. I own two Samsung Ultra Wide Thunderbolt monitors and had a need to daisy chain, my monitors, together to allow me to easily connect and disconnect my Macbook Pro without having to constantly update my monitor arrangements and other configuration. I wanted to just plug in and be ready to go and unplug quickly for those times I need to grab my laptop and run out the door. I have no idea what the other folks are trying to do with their setups that the cables did not work for them, but I expected this not to work just based on their reviews. Glad I gave them a shot anyway. Who should buy this cable: - People that have a need to daisy chain devices, thunderbolt allows you to chain up to 6 devices together (One to another) per port on your mac - People that want data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s and that's the fastest possible speed on computers as of today What if all I care about is connecting devices and charging features: - USB-C is perfect for connecting single devices and charging. USB-C maxes out at 100w, so I do not see any advantages in buying a Thunderbolt for improved charging since thunderbolt is rated at the same level. Does Macbook Pro come with a Thunderbolt cable or USB-C: - It comes with a USB-C cable and NOT a Thunderbolt version since Thunderbolt is not required for fast charging. It's important to note that thunderbolt is not USB-C rather is an enhanced technology that utilizes the USB-C interface for compatibility among many devices.
