  • Overview

Easy to operate and FDA cleared, the Withings BPM wireless blood pressure monitor gives you highly accurate heart rate and blood pressure monitoring, as well as automatic syncing to the Health Mate app on your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.

    Blood pressure monitoring made simple

Slip on the cuff, turn on the Withings BPM and the Health Mate app will automatically launch. Following a brief set of instructions, you are ready to take your blood pressure.

    Instant feedback

The app provides instant colour-coded feedback based on ESH (European Society of Hypertension) and AHA (American Heart Association) recommendations for hypertension.

    Your history — on hand

Because tracking over time helps you better understand heart health, the BPM monitor automatically syncs with the Health Mate app, where it stores all your blood pressure readings. Then, using that information, it creates an easy-to-understand chart of all your measurements.

Keep your doctor in the loop

Use the Withings BPM for prevention or to check the efficacy of your treatment. Either way, a few taps on your iPhone or iPad are all it takes to share measurements with your doctor.

    Save the co-pay

This Withings BPM has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the USA, and is compliant with European medical device regulations. It is also cleared as a medical device in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

    Backed by research

The Withings Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor has been used in projects, studies and clinical trials conducted in several universities and health systems including the University College Dublin (UCD), University Hospital Centre (CHU) in Toulouse and the American Medical Group Association.

    Hy-Result advanced cardiovascular health reporting

This optional upgrade helps you follow a medical protocol, at home. Withings’ new premium feature provides you with coaching and a personalised blood pressure report directly in the Health Mate app. Separate in-app purchase — exclusively on iOS.

Not even close to accurate readings

I spent a week using this. It was consistently telling me that my BP was too high - almost dangerously high in some cases. I did the sensible thing and went I spent a week using this. It was consistently telling me that my BP was too high - almost dangerously high in some cases. I did the sensible thing and went to see a doctor to get checked, taking my BPM with me. A doctors check confirmed that my BP was fine and a test with the Withings done immediately after showed it around 20% higher than the doctors reading. It’d be a great piece of kit if it was accurate!

      Awfully

Never measures from the first time, need to make 2,3 or 4 attempts to get numbers, otherwise shows error message.

I am not sure how accurate the item is though. I was a bit scared to buy based of other ratings, but it seemed like the people that had issue were either incapable of reading the directions and being able to understand how to use it, or where not an average sized person.

      Nope

After going on line and reading up on the best monitors out there, I think I may have figured out one possible reason why I kept getting crazy readings. My arm After going on line and reading up on the best monitors out there, I think I may have figured out one possible reason why I kept getting crazy readings. My arm is small and the heavy sensor on the cuff has a hard time staying firm. Another is that it's just a lousy unit altogether. One time it gave me a crazy reading of 168/? (can't remember the diastolic because I was in such shock of the 168..which I have NEVER been in my life)! I feel I can't trust it. Wish I could return it. What a waste of money!!

      Works really well

I got this product for over 2 years and been using it regularly. It works really well and the readings are quite accurate. I compared it to the reading I got this product for over 2 years and been using it regularly. It works really well and the readings are quite accurate. I compared it to the reading at the doctor and it is about the same. I really like the app driven ways of working, so all my histories are in one place. It’s great and easy to use! Highly recommended.
