      Great cover, for what it is.

      I don't understand the previous reviewer, why are you giving it 1 star because you don't like that it doesn't have a back cover? The product clearly states it is a smart cover, not a smart case. Don't base your buying decisions on misinformed people who write pointless reviews. This cover is very elegant, works perfectly as described, I would say the price is a bit high for what it is, but you are getting a very good quality leather product. If you are waiting for a "Smart Case" it may be a while, if ever. Apple went with the sleeves this time to accommodate the pencil, I've never had a problem with my iPad's back, maybe I take care of it more and don't toss it about =).

      Only covers I ever use

      We have two new iPad Pros 10.5 along with the Apple pencils and the leather Smart Covers in brown and black. For those who are unhappy because of no back cover We have two new iPad Pros 10.5 along with the Apple pencils and the leather Smart Covers in brown and black. For those who are unhappy because of no back cover, go to Amazon and look at the Poetic Lumus Flexible back cover with pencil holder. I have two of them on order as I write this. They are made to work with the smart covers and pencils and come in either clear or clear grey. They sell for $14.00 and will be in stock to ship 7/27/17. I have a Delivery date of 8/1/17 for the back covers. We have used the smart covers since Apple introduced them. I love the simple function and the minimal design that keeps the iPad lightweight. We do not carry our iPads out of the home so a case for protection is not a necessity. Still, I like my screen and back to have coverage to keep it from being scratched.

      Beautiful Cover

      I’ve been a user of the Smart Cover ever since they first came out with the iPad 2 and have found them to be the perfect way to subtlety protect your iPad. This I’ve been a user of the Smart Cover ever since they first came out with the iPad 2 and have found them to be the perfect way to subtlety protect your iPad. This is perfect for people who don’t like cases and for people who like to use your iPad as a book reader. It also gives me the peace of mind to throw my iPad in a bag without the screen getting damaged. Would recommend to anyone.

      I bought this cover for my iPad and I've very pleased with it. The quality is great and the suede-like microfibre lining protest the back of the iPad and the screen. I know some people have complained about the leather discolouring, but this is what happens with this kind of leather, in that it develops a patina. The same thing happens with Louis Vuitton bag handles and Mulberry Oak leather ... it's part of the charm.

      Not worth it

      I purchased this when i first got my ipad pro, always bought apple cases and found them to be fairly good. Within a couple of weeks it started to discolour on t I purchased this when i first got my ipad pro, always bought apple cases and found them to be fairly good. Within a couple of weeks it started to discolour on the edges dispite never leaving the house and great care being taken with it. I went to apple to buy something else and asked about it and was told they put a disclaimer saying it can discolour for £69 it shouldnt. Not the usuall customer service hence to say its sat in a drawer since and a £10 one from amazon has done much better.
