      These cables are terrible

These break just as easy as the cheap flea market ones. I’m always praising Apples products to all my friends. These cables are an embarrassment.

With all the money apple is making, your customers shouldn't be replacing their chargers every few months . I never had this problem with my Samsung phone.

      Overpriced and poor quality.

Where it is frayed wires or the lightning end snapping, the overall quality is appalling for the price. Apple must know this and yet they continue to produce a sub-standard product for a premium price. I have tried other brands but whilst some work initially and are more stronger and more durable, inevitably Apple control the market by making their devices “incompatible” to other brands. I love my Apple devices but seriously Apple, sort out the accessories or allow us the option to choose alternatives that are better and far cheaper.

Had insurance, wouldn't replace the cheapmade to fail charger cable!

The charger cable blinks on and off along with the lovely melody of ding (off), ding (back on), ding, ding ding! That goes on for 5 minutes every time I plug it in. I have to bend it and move it till it connects and begins charging. I'd been adjusting the cord and found its sweet spot (before the rep came over) so they said they couldn't replace it and just dismissed me. So the dinging continues until it stops working altogether. Such a low, way to scam an extra $20 off every buyer. They make them to fail so they get a real windfall of the repurchases. Imagine how many replacements they sell!

      Don’t buy

I have owned 3 or 4 of these and they always break within the first month. The rubber splits at the point of connection, creating a short every time.
