For the reviewer who said there is no place for Apple Pencil it is magnetized and it attaches to the side of the iPad and that will also charge it.

Answered all my gripes about the first one

I love that this new keyboard folio adds back protection. This is something I've wanted Apple to bring back to their iPad case line since the 9.7" Pro. I am very worried about the keys scratching the screen up, but I'm trying to remain calm.

I love that it never needs charging and gets its power from the iPad. My only complaint concerns the material covering its outside. After a few weeks of carrying it around, I began to notice a few wrinkles had formed due to the moisture or heat from my hand. After a year, the entire case is wrinkled looking and very unsightly. It’s a shame that such a great device has this visible flaw. If you want yours to keep looking presentable, carry it in a bag.

No way to toggle between non illuminated keyboard and on screen keyboard. Have to pull the iPad off and use a second stand or just hold it to get on screen keyboard to pop up. How many times will you need to type in low light (airplane) or at night in bed when your spouse is sleeping with lights off.

      Disappointed

I paid the extra money for the Apple keyboard because I have always been impressed with Apple quality but not this product. It didn’t last a year. While I loved I paid the extra money for the Apple keyboard because I have always been impressed with Apple quality but not this product. It didn’t last a year. While I loved how it functioned & integrated with my iPad initially, it’s too expensive if it’s going to stop working every 12 months.
