How many characters allowed for engraving?

My husband purchased AirPods for me and had them engraved. There were 17 characters including spaces. I am trying to purchase some AirPods for him and have them engraved as well. What I would like engraved is also 17 characters including spaces, but it is telling me it’s too long.

  • Just go online and if your message is to long it will tell you your message is to long to be engraved.
