Will this cup holder mount with with the new iPhone 6+ that's also in a case? Is it wide enough?

Do I need to purchase a cable to use so that I can charge my iPhone whilst in the mount?

I need to be able to charge my phone as i use it as my sat nav. I will be using a 6Splus phone. Have a in car charger for 5c phone but not sure if the cables are the same.
