    Works great, looks great.

Works great in conjunction with my Apple folding keyboard. I’ve been using this combo for a few weeks now. It’s nice not having to keep a Bluetooth keyboard charged and synced, and so the combo of this case and the Apple keyboard is excellent. The two together are kinda pricey, but with the ease of use it’s been more than worth it. It’s nice being able to pull the keyboard off and just hold the tablet to draw or consume content without having to worry about pressing keys or adding too much bulk to the thickness. Much better than the Logitech solution that I used before this.

    It's perfect

I just received my new iPad case in the mail today and I love it! It's perfect for what I need it for. It protects my iPad and it also has a holder for my Apple Pencil. It's not bulky, it looks good, and I had no problem connecting my keyboard to it.

Sturdy & Durable to a Fault

While this case certainly feels durable and I feel totally comfortable just tossing it in my car seat or on my bed, or laying it down not-so-gently on my kitchen counter or dining room table, this durability comes at a cost of functionality of the Smart Keyboard, which I can't even use to write this review unless I take the case off completely.

First off, yes, this feels like a solidly build case. And it's heavy, feels like it basically doubles the weight of the entire thing. The Apple Pencil holder is nifty, and I would have definitely lost it already were it not for that holder. HOWEVER, the added weight feels pretty cumbersome in a product that's supposed to be nimble, the Apple Pencil holder is a whole centimeter too long which leaves a lot of extra room that feels rather clunky and lets the Pencil slide around a decent bit, and the worst offender of all: despite being reassured that this works with the Smart Keyboard, it most definitely does not do so in a very effective manner. When using the Smart Keyboard in the intended manner for typing, the extra weight from the case leaning against the folded supports of the Smart Keyboard causes the iPad to push harder against the magnetic support structure that usually snaps the iPad Pro into place when in typing mode no the Smart Keyboard. I have found that any slight change I position of the iPad or Keyboard will cause the added strain to become too much and disconnect the Keyboard from the iPad Pro, requiring several additional tries to reconnect.

This is wholly too complicated for a case that should just work, and I feel like I have been a little misled. I will be returning this and exchanging it for a different case that it thinner, lighter, and once again claims to work with the Smart Keyboard. We shall see.
