Does not work with other wall ports.

    • Written by Emily M from Idalia

Hi, I’ve been using this for the last few months with no complaints other than sometimes it doesn’t recognize my phone when I place it down.
However, I needed a second USB port to charge my watch and so I replaced the wall port with a Comsole multiple USB pack. The power specs should be well and truely enough for the base but when it’s plugged in it doesn’t charge my phone and the light blinks continuously. I’ve read someone else having this problem also. So be warned, you may not be able to use this if you change the wall adapter.

    Really weird power plug design

    • Written by James A from Pascoe Vale

There was no need to put the power plug on an angle. It doesn’t fit next to most other plugs. No idea why they just didn’t do a USB C input and let us choose the adapter.

    Stupid plug design

    • Written by Sara D from Sydney

Working OK as a charger so far. Although will only charge my iPhone 8, no earlier versions. My biggest issue with this "wireless" charger, is the charging base which has a bloody long wire to the most ridiculous plug attached at the end. Some fool decided to design the plug so its at an angle , so that when you want to plug anything into the socket next to it, you cant.I can only use my double wall socket to plug in this charger. Bloody idiots

Works okay, but some terrible design features!

    • Written by Jeremy O from Daylesford

This charging base works more or less as it should, although you do need to have your phone positioned just right or else no charging will take place. The main irritation is the power plug. To be trendy - I’m just guessing - it is set on an angle meaning that it takes up the space of 1.5 power points. This is extremely annoying and means you can’t use the power point next to it. Why o why did they do this? It bugs every day to the point that I’m making my first review! Apart from that, though, I do like the charging base, although I suspect it isn’t as fast at recharging as traditional methods.

    iPhone X slips off

    • Written by Russell C from Rushden

The charger is good but i don't use a case with my phone. This results in the iPhone slipping off sometimes, even on a level surface.
The design could be improved by using a material thats stop the phone slipping off. I'm looking for another charger now.

    Works well, poor design

    • Written by Tyler S from Glen Rock

I tested this wireless charging base and the Belkin. Both perform the same in my two weeks of testing, for the same price. There are limitations to the wireless technology, requiring specific (though not too specific) placement. But these reflect the state of the tech and are not a big deal—you get used to it, and wireless is far easier then fumbling with a cable.

I chose the Belkin over the mophie because the Belkin has an indicator light that clearly shows when the iPhone is placed well and charging. The mophie had a light, but very small and dim and hard to see. That is the only differentiatior to me.

    Meh ...

    • Written by Christopher L from Mechanicville

When it works, it is just fine. However, if you are not really precise about where you place the phone on the charger, it does not connect. I also found that it has poor performance when the phone is covered by a case. My leather case was exceptionally sensitive to placement.

    Good for night only

    • Written by sarfraz N from dubai

Wireless charger doesent charge fast enough. Good for sleeping time only. Where u DONT have to search for the cable to connect. When u woke up after 7hrs of sleep in the morning it may be around 95 to 100%.

But if u want quick charging in the morning for iPhone X. Go for either 29w c adapter or 12w iPad charger. Charges quickly

    29w 52% in 30 mins.

    12w 36% in 30 mins

    5w 20% in 30 mins

    Very Basic, No Frills

    • Written by Roland M from Winchester

Got this as an early Christmas present and yeah, it gets the job done.. but it has no other selling points that differentiate it from the rest. It does work with the Apple leather case on so don't listen to other reviews that say you have to remove the case first. I think it really depends on the case material and how thick it is. One thing that I wish this charging pad had was a lightning charging port instead of the standard AC plug. I always have a lightning cable with me but now when I travel I need to bring this things AC adapter too.

All in all, if you're willing to spend $60 for a stationary charging pad that you probably won't travel with then yeah this gets the job done.

    Bad wall plug design

    • Written by John D from Nhulunbuy

The charger itself is excellent, however the wall plug design while looking good, does not let you plug anything in the socket beside it due to its 45 degree turn. (Diamond shape rather than square) You will need one of those power boards that have the extra wide sockets specially suited to those big bulky transformers that come with some products.

Nice design and size but stops charging

    • Written by Yevgen Y from Odessa

During my first 5-6 charges using Mophie pad, my iPhone 8 Plus stopped charging shortly after it was placed on the pad. It happens 3 times and I don’t know whether it has something to do with charger or phone itself.

    Charging for 8 Plus

    • Written by Rogelio R from Morgan City

I realized I have to put the phone centered on the base, if I only place half of the phone on the base it will not start charging. This could be better, other than that it charges well and I like the design.
