    Excellent Customer Service!

I think this is a wonderful product. It's really helping me with my posture. After a few weeks, I had an issue with my unit. The online support was fast, patient and then fair in deciding to send me a new unit. I highly recommend the product and the company!

    Adhesives do no work effectively

    • Written by shatavia M from brooklyn

I purchased the Uprightt Go for my teenage daughter and overall her experience has been terrible. The Upright Go does not stay in place. We’ve tried replacing the adhesive several times, and the Upright Go still manage to fall off to the point where she’s almost lost it a few times. It would make for a great product, if only we could get it to stay in place.

Excellent first week, lovely holiday gift

    • Written by Madison H from San Luis Obispo

I received this device as a gift for Christmas. It's been one week and I love it. It paired quickly and easily with my iPhone and had no problems with the app. My posture is terrible so the first day (the easiest setting) was quite difficult, I had trouble standing straight enough to satisfy the device and it was a bit frustrating. But the second day I could already feel my body learning how to stand straighter. I can sometimes feel my back muscles being tired or slightly sore, which means it is working! I don't know how long the effects will last, whether I will truly learn this habit in two weeks... only time will tell if their training mode works for me. But I greatly enjoy the tracking mode which tells what percent of the day I am standing straight, and I can watch myself improve (or catch when I am slouching too long and make a correction). Highly recommend to anyone who wants to deliberately improve their posture.

    Well heck, I slouch !

    • Written by Nicholas D from san francisco

This device is so cute and useful. Can be irritating at times, why? Because I slouch more than I knew.. Especially at work! I haven't had any issues with the sticky. If you read the instructions and shower regularly, you should have no problem.. I wanted to buy this device when it first came out, but I am glad i waited as the new device (this one) is smaller and supposedly has more tech.

    Certainly worth purchasing :D

This gadget is an excellent reminder to correct your posture. It has reminded me so many times through out the day to lift my chest, my head, and pull my chin in. Even when I am not wearing it, I find I am checking myself and pulling myself back up into a better position. You will be glad you purchased one ;)

Great device, makes a difference to posture

    • Written by Jo C from Buffalo

This device is a simple but effective tool to help me improve my posture. The training feature makes me much more aware of my posture and there are different options depending on how active you are at different phases of the day. The adhesives are easy to use and change. One note I would make is the battery lasts for most, but not all of the day, so it is not something you would wear all day everyday. It is really helpful in those periods when you do wear it and helps to build awareness even when you're not wearing it.

    Great for posture!

    • Written by Jeremy H from Bellevue

Intuitive design, great companion app, and amazing results so far. The only issues are limited battery life and sometimes the adhesives can be a little tricky after a shower/workout but can be mitigated by waiting until cooldown before reapplying.

    Device died after 3 weeks

    • Written by Anonymous

This is my 2nd device bought the first one thru Amazon and damaged it by wearing it in the shower. This last one I bought thru Apple and it died in 3 weeks after I removed it from it's charger. The support guys were a big help in trying to get it to work but when I suggested a replacement. They suggested I get help in trying to get the device to work. That did not make sense to me I'm the go to tech-head fix-it guy in the family. I followed all of their instructions exactly and it never came back to life. When I told them they should replace it they went silent. No more communication. Nice! I need this device as it helps me with poor posture due to Parkinson's disease. I may have to purchase a 3rd device, if I want one.

    Great training aid for Equestrians

    • Written by Laurie C S from Lander

I bought this to use while riding/training my horse (I work competitively in dressage), and it's fabulous: helps me develop muscle memory of what is good posture while I'm working my horse. I've even discovered times when I'm leaning that neither I nor my trainer caught in the past! It's immediate feedback. We work hard in the saddle and I sweat a lot, so to keep it on I've wrapped it in waterproof medical tape, applied the provided stickies to the tape, then support the stickies with another piece of tape. Keeps it in place and not falling into the dirt of the arena. My riding and non-riding friends love this product!

It works 1000%. Simple and effective.

    • Written by Dusanka P from Redmond

The upright go device is very simple, slick, and effective. It just works. I love the app and how easy to use it. The whole experience with upright go is just awesome - simple while it does all one would ever want with it.

As far as what I got out of it - I was grossly underestimating amount of slouching I was doing. Wow. Now, I wear it only during my work day where I sit or stand the whole time. Just over a few days my posture improved a lot. The device trained me into being upright just like the Pavlovian dogs. :) Psychology behind it works.

Outcomes - I feel better, I look better, and am strengthening my back and core muscles throughout out as I am making sure my posture is upright. A book can be written about the impact of posture on a person on every level of our being - so I just say, this matters for our confidence and for our chemistry in the body, and the change can be felt in just in a week of use.

Down side - the adhesives are pricy imo, which is a downside since they are disposable. However, one can get creative with medical tapes or however.

Do Not Purchase it does not stick

    • Written by Sandra D from West Lakes

I was excited to purchase this product from APPLE store. . However it did not even last for one day. Unfortunately it fell off at some point during the day without me even knowing it. I even retraced my steps but was unable to find the upright go. The adhesive Did not last long at all. , I did put it on dry clean skin in the upper middle of my back as shown in the directions. This was a complete waste of money and is very upsetting as the product is not cheap. I warn all DO NOT BUY THIS you will lose it at some stage. If you do buy it I hope it last longer than the one day I used it. Very very disappointing

Since I purchased uprightgo my posture has been improving gradually and I am introducing it to all of my colleagues and they got very interested. I hope the company can come to Apple store Japan because for sure you would be successful. Also, thanks to the great support that I received regarding some doubts that I had within the app. They were nice and helpful. Thank you for helping to look better and feel healthier!!!

    Excellent Health Device

    • Written by Brett T from Arlington

I recently purchased the Upright GO when visiting my local Apple Store. I must admit that I was pretty skeptical of placing this device on my skin (via the included reusable adhesive patches). Today is my first day using the device and it appears to be working great. It is already helping me to be more conscious of my posture and the app is super easy to use. I would also like to give a kudos to the support team as they have reached out to me using the in-app support chat to ask if I had any questions. It appears that they respond very promptly to any feedback.
*Special Note: My device's battery was dead when I first purchased it. The manual didn't specifically reference the need to charge it initially but after a couple hours of charging, it began working.

I worry about my slump and slouch but haven't been happy with other experiments. UPRIGHT GO has been easy to use and doing. The program on my cell phone was easy to set up and easy to use. The training program starts slow so I wasn't overwhelmed, I'm just in week two but can see that my body awareness has been strengthened. We'll see but I'm optimistic.

Does what it says, but not sure how accurately it trains

    • Written by Emma W from Bury St Edmunds

The Upright Go has two modes – training and tracking. Training is the one where it buzzes when you slouch, and each day you put it in this mode for longer and longer. The problem is, once you've calibrated it, it tells you you're slouching even when you're just leaning forward. For example, I was loading the dishwasher while wearing it and it buzzed at me constantly and told me I'd been doing a 'long slouch'. I ended up doing weird squats in front of the dishwasher trying not to set it off which isn't going to help my posture at all. So it seems the only way to train your posture properly is to stand or sit still for the session, which just isn't practical.

The buzz does make you stand/sit up straight, but being told you've been slouching for 15 minutes when in fact you've just been doing things that involve leaning forward or bending over is annoying and inaccurate.

Adhesive won’t keep it in place - lost it first day.

    • Written by Marla M from Chicago

I was very excited to invest in this product, and wore it for the first time today. Unfortunately it fell off at some point during the day without me even knowing it and is gone forever. What a waste of money. I’m very sad. And for clarity, I did put it on dry clean skin in the upper middle of my back as shown in the directions. It just isn’t made to stay on.

    Very Effective

    • Written by Naveed K from London

I've been using this for 3 weeks now and I am very impressed so far. I was surprised by how non-intrusive it is while wearing (you literally forget it's there). Also impressed with how responsive it is to movement/posture. I can echo the other comments on here and say that it surprised me just how much I do slouch at work and for how long. The online communication is very good too. Please don't expect a quick fix, changing your posture happens slowly over time but this is a very useful tool
