    Solid and very useful

    • Written by Darren W from Sheringham

Very quick to set up and the extra height is super handy I primarily use it for taking photo's not tried video's yet.
I am comfortable with my iPhone X (in a case) mounted to the Joby GripTight PRO TelePod with it fully extended to lengths up to 79cm / 31in and is 12.7-ounce. (Nice lightweight and easy to carry).
My only complaint is the little impulse blue tooth remote. It fits to one of the tripod legs in the rubber grip, but it just feels like it will fall off if knocked. Also, you can't shoot in burst mode using the impulse blue tooth remote.

Overall very pleased with the Joby GripTight PRO TelePod Tripod.

Good product, but bluetooth impulse remote is defective

    • Written by Jessenino A from Bacoor

Hi, I bought this product and it is a very good one. It is just that the Bluetooth Impulse Remote that came with it is defective in that it registers two clicks even with pressing the button just once, rendering it to command the phone to shoot twice in a row always. this becomes an annoyance when using the video recording as it won't command the phone properly. clicking it to start video will start recording but stops it immediately, because again a click would register two clicks at a time.

    Solid Tripod but dysfunctional remote

    • Written by Giovanni R from Epping

I bought the Joby GripTight PRO in Japan solely for the purpose of being able to take stable still shots, videos and selfies as I travel around the country. The tripod itself is solid and I never once had any problem with uneven surface or platform due to its adjustable legs. The only problem I had was with the remote. It took me many tries (unsuccessfully) to pair it with my iPhone XS Max and eventually gave up. I went back to the nearest Apple store in Tokyo for help and even they had a hard time pairing it. After, again, many tries they managed to pair it not realizing it would be the last time. I haven’t been able to pair and therefore use it since. I’ve given up on pairing the remote and decided to just use my Apple Watch or wireless headset as a remote.

    Good but Overpriced

    • Written by Val T from Wexford

The product does exactly what it’s supposed to. It’’s nice and relatively sturdy, but seems a bit expensive for what you actually get. The locking mechanism makes me nervous, I feel like it should “click” into place - but I just ended up pushing it down to make sure it didn’t budge. Finally, I was hoping it had a handle or the ability to rotate so panning would be possible... It does not. I’m currently on the fence about whether or not I want to return it.
