It’s ok. I switched to Apple’s Smart Battery case

I have used both the Apple Smart Battery case and the Mophie Battery case. If wireless charging is most important for you, go with the Mophie case. If being able to plug-in Apple accessories is more important, go with they Apple’s Smart Battery case.

The Mophie case is available with wireless charging. It is equipped with a Micro USB port on the base that will pass through data. The draw backs are that the battery charge status is displayed with just 4 LED lights on the back. The power to the iPhone has to be manually turned on and off with a button on the back. They have a hard plastic shell that can be just as slippery as the iPhone’s shell, and is easy to fumble and drop.

The Apple Smart Battery case will automatically turn on and off as need. There is a Lightning Port on the base that is compatible with other Apple accessories. The other shell is silicone with a good, sure grip. When charging without a phone attached, an LED will display an orange color while charging, and switches to green when the battery is 100%. But, you will have to connect an iPhone to see the remaining battery charge. The MAJOR drawback is the lack of built in wireless charging. The apple cases will block the iPhone’s own wireless charger when a case is attached.
