The most perfect keyboard for iPad

    • Written by Svenne K from Kronshagen

Typing is as slick and tactile as typing on a Mac. I love the compact but large enough 9.7», which fills my needs for using Word and do other office task on a airliner cabin seat table, at coffee shop or my lap. I don`t need any larger than that. The iPad is placed at the top directly near the keyboard keys and with no palm rest at the bottom. This gives more reach control from typing to touch screen usage.

    Do not buy

After two days a key feel off and was lost. Common complaint in many reviews. I guess I thought I could use it for at least a few months Nope.

    Almost perfect

This case can store your Apple Pencil, and comes with a decent keyboard. However, it’s very thick. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

I was afraid, but I Love this case!

I love the keyboard and stylus. It's very handy and easy to switch between the two.The only thing is it can be occassionally awkwardon my lap but that would be the same with similar product. At a desk it is great!.

    Very Disappointed

    • Written by Dolores F from Covington

Got the case for Christmas. I don’t use the keyboard that much. And yet, the “tab” key keeps falling off. I have it taped. The rubber protection strip on the inner side by pen sleeve came off.

Definitely not what I expected from a product recommended, and sold, in the Apple store. And not what I expected from Logitech.

    Not the best around

    • Written by Eduardo C from Belo Horizonte

The keyboard itself works really nice. The problem is with the material that it is built and also how the case hold the ipad. Since it does not hold the tablet very firmly, it keeps popping out of the case and because of that the volume buttons are always blocked. I have this case since 9 months ago and on my first plane travel, the case cracked on the corner and now my iPad is sliding out of the case even more. Look for something more robust and consider paying more.

Great feeling keyboard that works well in this form factor

    • Written by Kenneth L from HILLIARD

I have gone through many different keyboards over the years and finally found one that feels good in this kind of form factor. The challenge any keyboard manufacturer has is that an iPad is not the same width as a normal laptop so everything gets squished together. That is not a show stopper but does make it harder to create a keyboard you can type on fast. In addition, since this is bluetooth, another problem I have had is the speed at which my iPad connects to the keyboard. The Logitech Slim Folio solves both for me. I can type much faster on it then other major brand keyboard that are designed for iPad. It also connects very fast when I hit a key to wake it up. It connects faster then another keyboard I own which cost more money. This is two major pluses for me.

Something unique to this model is that it is a folio which means if you have a pencil and want to write on it, or use it for reading, it folds nice and flat. This makes it like having a notepad where the keyboard is protected in the way the folio opens and folds.

Another thing that I really dig about this kit is that the iPad clips into the folio vs having little tabs the hold onto a tiny part of the iPad which just feels sketchy to me. I know Apple builds very robust and well designed things but I just don't like the tiny tabs on the edge of the iPad screen. The Logitech Slim Folio does a great job surrounding the iPad protecting it on the back and all sides. Even so, the buttons are fully accessible. Based on the protection, I feel more confident traveling with it. I know it can take some bumps.

The stand is excellent for a folio. When you flip it up as an A frame stand, there are magnets that snap it in place with an audible sound. Even on an unstable surface like a lap, it does not fall apart.

I like this keyboard and will continue to use the heck out of it.

    Short Lifespan

    • Written by Laura S from Euless

Purchased this case less than one year ago and the corners have chipped away and no longer even hold the iPad. The keyboard? Works like a charm but I have to lay the iPad flat to use it. It's important to note that my iPad stays pretty stationary and doesn't travel much at all. I'm not sliding it in and out of a bag or transporting it to and from meeting to meeting. I basically sits on my desk 90% of the time.

There is no way to replace just the back of the case. I should have known not to rely on this brand as I have replaced my Logitech wireless keyboard 3 times under warranty.

Logitech Slim Folio case with keyboard

Awful product. First case had keys falling out. Had to go through Logitech to get it replaced. New one came and never connected to my ipad. Don't waste money on Logitech. I'm waiting for my new Belkin to be delivered.

Logetic slim folia case for 6th gen Ipad

    • Written by Siddhant K

The case gets the job done! The Bluetooth works well however sometimes if the iPad is on the kick stand for to long you need to re-trigger it because it falls into a sleep mode. The built quality of the case is not that impressive. Some rims are unprotected which should be considering the price.

Wonderful case for a fraction of the price of Apple’s

    • Written by Mike R from Terre Haute

This case is by far superior to Apple’s keyboard case, and is a fraction of the price. My fiancee bought this case for me, and I have used it everyday since. The keys are spaced much better than those on the apple keyboard case, the build quality is superior, and it provides much more protection to the device. The function keys at the top row of the keyboard are fantastic as well for quickly controlling the device. The one downside is that the angle at whcih the ipad is positioned is not adjustable. The vast majority of the time the position is perfect, but it would be nice to adjust.

    Doesn't last

    • Written by Nicky P from Edmonton

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas - by July the keys were falling off. Received a replacement one under warranty and within 2 weeks keys are falling off again and others (delete & arrows) just stopped working. My daughter is extremely careful with her things (unlike her sister) so I know that she is treating it with care- it is a tablet which means that it is portable so it should be a little more durable especially when paying $140 for it. Very disappointed with it.

    good while it lasted

    • Written by elizabeth S from Madison

I bought my iPad in January 2018, and this keyboard case at the same time. It's been eight full months of moderate to heavy use, and the case is broken. The parts of the case where the iPad magnetically connects to the keyboard take a lot of stress, and those little plastic pieces have snapped. Without those pieces, the case can't hold the iPad securely which means it's basically useless. The iPad just falls out of the case. Not even a full year of using this case and it's broken; I'm not impressed. It was great while it worked, I took my iPad everywhere. Use a stronger material for the plastic part and I'll be a repeat customer because I really liked this case (hence three stars instead of one).
