The most perfect keyboard for iPad

    • Written by Svenne K from Kronshagen

Typing is as slick and tactile as typing on a Mac. I love the compact but large enough 9.7», which fills my needs for using Word and do other office task on a airliner cabin seat table, at coffee shop or my lap. I don`t need any larger than that. The iPad is placed at the top directly near the keyboard keys and with no palm rest at the bottom. This gives more reach control from typing to touch screen usage.

I love the keyboard and stylus. It's very handy and easy to switch between the two.The only thing is it can be occassionally awkwardon my lap but that would be the same with similar product. At a desk it is great!.

Great feeling keyboard that works well in this form factor

    • Written by Kenneth L from HILLIARD

I have gone through many different keyboards over the years and finally found one that feels good in this kind of form factor. The challenge any keyboard manufacturer has is that an iPad is not the same width as a normal laptop so everything gets squished together. That is not a show stopper but does make it harder to create a keyboard you can type on fast. In addition, since this is bluetooth, another problem I have had is the speed at which my iPad connects to the keyboard. The Logitech Slim Folio solves both for me. I can type much faster on it then other major brand keyboard that are designed for iPad. It also connects very fast when I hit a key to wake it up. It connects faster then another keyboard I own which cost more money. This is two major pluses for me.

Something unique to this model is that it is a folio which means if you have a pencil and want to write on it, or use it for reading, it folds nice and flat. This makes it like having a notepad where the keyboard is protected in the way the folio opens and folds.

Another thing that I really dig about this kit is that the iPad clips into the folio vs having little tabs the hold onto a tiny part of the iPad which just feels sketchy to me. I know Apple builds very robust and well designed things but I just don't like the tiny tabs on the edge of the iPad screen. The Logitech Slim Folio does a great job surrounding the iPad protecting it on the back and all sides. Even so, the buttons are fully accessible. Based on the protection, I feel more confident traveling with it. I know it can take some bumps.

The stand is excellent for a folio. When you flip it up as an A frame stand, there are magnets that snap it in place with an audible sound. Even on an unstable surface like a lap, it does not fall apart.

I like this keyboard and will continue to use the heck out of it.

Wonderful case for a fraction of the price of Apple’s

    • Written by Mike R from Terre Haute

This case is by far superior to Apple’s keyboard case, and is a fraction of the price. My fiancee bought this case for me, and I have used it everyday since. The keys are spaced much better than those on the apple keyboard case, the build quality is superior, and it provides much more protection to the device. The function keys at the top row of the keyboard are fantastic as well for quickly controlling the device. The one downside is that the angle at whcih the ipad is positioned is not adjustable. The vast majority of the time the position is perfect, but it would be nice to adjust.
