Great mug, terrible standby drain on coaster and bad service

    • Written by Nigel J from Heumen

The mug is fine: great design and feel and works well. But: I measured the standby current of the coaster, and it was 100 times that of my iPhone! I have spent months communicating with customer service, and wonder seriously whether they are using bots instead of people. I got some really strange replies, tons of promises, but no actual service. In this time when we are so aware of energy spillage, this is not a good look. They promised that I would get a replacement unit, but I think that they were just stringing me along. I reported the problem in March, and there is no sign of a replacement.

    Good Concept but...

    • Written by Joseph O from Philadelphia

If you like your coffee hot with steam coming off, this is not the mug for you. The maximum temperature the mug provides is 145 degrees. It will register the temperature of the coffee when you first pour it in and my Cuisinart coffeemaker brews to 165 degrees according to the Ember app. But its downhill from there. The temperature drops and 145 becomes the max. Plus that temperature only seems to be at the bottom of the mug. The top cools down. It is also a small mug. If you like a large cup, look elsewhere.
