My first wireless charger, was very eager to start using it. I charged my phone 2 times in a three week window and darn thing does not want to charge at all. Not even the lights turn on any more, I do not recommend this item at all. Waste of Money!

My parents bought me this wireless charger to use with my wireless airpods, and while charging the airpods would continue to slide across the charging pad to the edge of the pad. Once it slides out of place, it stops charging it, which makes the wireless charging pad useless. Then after about two weeks, the case wasn't able to charge wirelessly AT ALL. I took the case to apple and got it replaced, only to have the case break again two days later when I tried to use this wireless charging pad. Please Apple, stop selling this wireless charging pad to people who want to use it for their airpods.

I've had this now for a few hours (I was so excited, I bought two of them) and it's going back ASAP! Part of the reason is that the Mophie surface is slick and with the slightest uneven surface (I can't eve see the (< 1/2-degree??) "slope" on my desk), the slick case for AirPods slides right off. The other part is owing to the terrible technology behind wireless charging. If the device isn't right over the charging "area" it's useless. I thought I could just kind of throw it on my nightstand and all would be well, but if it's off by 1/8th of an inch, it won't charge. I'll stick to Lightning Cable until this is figured out. This is probably why the AirPower project was scrapped. Apple only releases things when they're 100% great -- I'm guessing they could never get this good enough.
