Really nice looking and cool to wear, but...

    • Written by Matt K from SALEM

... it tends to loosen itself during the course of a day's wear (not a huge problem as it's super easy to synch up); it does indeed pull out your arm hair, and if you have a beard you'll undoubtedly lose some whiskers!!! Ouch!

    An excellent Band.

    • Written by Dilir D from Chicago

It makes my Apple Watch feel like a $5000 Watch. The build quality is excellent. It feels silky, and people notice it in parties. So, if you want to keep a low profile , do not get this. But if you want a premium experience of Apple Watch ,get this.

I received this Watch Band for Christmas (2017) from my boyfriend along with an Apple Watch. It has now been 5 months and the watch band has already broken, the metal chain links have partially detached from the watch connector. I loved this watch band and am very dissatisfied with the quality. This should not occur with 5 months of wear.

Most Sought After Apple Watch Band and the Best of All Bands

    • Written by Richard B from FORT WORTH

I can’t believe there are so many *, **, and *** reviews about this band. Those who wrote those reviews must really have it in for Apple. That, or they simply don’t know about taking care of and how to wear Stainless Steel Bands. Some even blame their bad habits on the band and then give a low rating to the band which is not how to review the band itself. One person said she tends to scratch her head while writing and the band pulls some of her hair out. Well, don’t blame the band; blame yourself. Stop scratching your head. Decreasing your rating of the band is unfair. In re the magnet, I find it so strong that it’s very hard to come loose from the band. Maybe I have a later band with a better magnet but I can tell you I have never had it come loose and never easy to remove from the band.

Apple stands by everything they make and vend and I would suggest that if you still have the band under warranty to take it back to the Apple store and replace it with a new band. They are still made in China, after all. Mistakes can happen, but I would rather think that these people treat their watches and these bands rather harshly.

To make sure that I don’t, when I purchased my 42mm SS Apple Watch, I immediately bought the Milanese Loop with the Watch, and then purchased two Apple Classic Leather Buckles, the Apple Stainless Steel Link, two Apple Leather Loops, six Apple Sport Fluoroelastamer Bands, two Apple Sport Loops, one Hermès Single Tour with Deployant Buckle and finally seven very high quality leather and ceramic third-party bands. I am trying to show that if you own many bands, and wear one band every three or so days or every week and on special occasions, no one band will wear out quickly if worn with great care .

In my opinion, they won’t wear out in any case. They when you upgrade you watch in two years, your bands will still be good to wear. The Milanese is not my favorite but is in the Top 5.

    Don't Waste Your Money

    • Written by Steven V from Naples

I think that this is most elegant looking watch band. But after 3 months of putting up with the band continually coming loose on my wrist I got fed up and went back to my original velcro sport band. Which never comes loose no matter what I do. This great looking band has been a big disappointment and waste of money. Apple needs to find a way to make the fastener stronger. Being an engineer I understand that magnetic stainless steel has many limitations. My recommendation would be to do a redesign and either add a clasp or sections of material with stronger magnetic properties. The watch gets so loose throughout the day that I have to constantly reenter my password just to read the time.

    Absolutely the best

    • Written by Freddie M from Jacksonville

I don't unterdatand the bad reviews, I read a review that says the magnet was not strong enough, I find this to absolutely be not true. This band is prefect, at least the two that I have. A little pricey, but I find this 42mm Milanese loop band to be perfect, I would give it 5 stars if I could.

    10 month ownership report

    • Written by William H from Columbia

Ten months after purchase, my Milanese Loop has corroded at the magnet/rubberized end to the point that it fell apart.

I purchased it separately from my watch so there is no warranty.

After contacting Apple Support I was told my only option was to purchase a new one.

Purchased my Milanese Loop at the end of January 2017.

The first week of November 2017 I noticed the band slipping resulting in a too loose feel.

Upon close observation, it was revealed that a corrosion bubble that developed inside by the magnet grew to push the panel seal out ahead of the rubber ring causing the ring to slip.

While I'm a healthy active middle-aged man, my watchband has never been subjected to swimming pools, baths, nor showers.

I have worn it to the gym, but my perspiration is not excessive.

I wear it every day, which can include days of yard work or home repair projects on the weekends.

    Final Thoughts:

This is an elegant watchband that is very comfortable especially for a metal band, which are two of the several reasons why I purchased it.

At the same time, the build standard for my particular watchband, which has not lasted 10 months, is less than what I've come to expect from Apple products in my 30 years as a loyal customer.

Mine may be an anomaly, so weigh this as you see fit.

If you have a 150mm wrist

    • Written by Damien B from Port Macquarie

I purchased a 42mm Apple Watch Series 3 that came with this band. I have a small wrist (150mm) so I wasn't sure if it would be too loose.

When it arrived it was installed on the watch with the looped part of the band installed at the bottom of the watch. It didn't feel right on my wrist and I was thinking about returning it.

I tried a different band and when I put the Milanese Loop back on the watch I put it on in reverse and it fitted much better as the magnetic piece gave some support at the bottom of the watch so it didn't want to sag.

Feels really good now and looks great.

Nice looking but has a flaw

    • Written by THOMAS W from OMAHA

Like many other reviewers I really like this band but had trouble with it becoming loose after a while, and then it would slide around on my arm. Sometimes it got loose enough I had to log on again. I finally quit wearing it; it seems like if you pay that much for a band it should stay on your wrist better. A stronger magnet would probably help.

Nice look, feel, but a weak magnet

    • Written by Paul S C from Stuart

I bought this strap with a stainless case. I hoped to use the watch for all day, and all sports. The band comes loose if your arm is active, which is a big disappointment. It is comfortable and nice looking so it makes for a good dress watch. However, I would not recommend it.

    Really Nice and Comfortable!

    • Written by Kendra O from Albuquerque

I wanted a band that would dress up my Apple Watch stainless steel. This does it. I wear this band when my husband takes me out to dinner or we go out on a date. I wear a red sports band on all the other days. It took me like 3 months to convince myself to buy this band. I had so many friends tell me to purchase a knock off. I was not comfortable doing that. I think apple products are top notch. you pay for what you get. This band makes my watch look so dressy, and it is so comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Nice but...

    • Written by Vivek S from Lansing

The overall look is really impressive however like some others, I have found the magnet not very strong and the watch keeps sliding on my wrist and am having to constantly adjust it. I got it because I have a large wrist and this was one band that accommodated my large wrist. Now that the sport band comes in XL, will probably buy that and give it a try. I did end up buying an extra-large leather band from an outside vendor but was not of the best quality and the band ripped in two.

    Great Watch band

    • Written by David M from Collingswood

I have 2 colors of the "standard" Sport band. I decided to look at this because I'm so old (!!) that I could never find the right hole with the Sport band. (I use the third hole, but for some reason my old brain always picked either the second or fourth hole.)
Anyway, I thought the "Loop" might alleviate that "problem", and indeed it does. AND, it also breathes. Something I hadn't counted on because the Sport bands definitely don't.
As another reviewer noted, it looks great with the space gray Watch. And the flexibility of the magnet is wonderful. And, if I haven't mentioned it already - it breathes.
    Three thumbs up!

It really is a very good strap

    • Written by Bradley D from Winnipeg

    Hi folks

This is my first apple watch, but not my first stainless steel watch strap. Stainless steel watch straps are the look that I prefer, therefore I have had several over the years. I can tell you that each and every one of them tugs at the hairs on my wrist, and the Apple Milanese Loop strap is no exception. I suspect that those reviews that give this strap a poor rating over this issue have never used a stainless steel watch strap before. I find that after a while I don't notice it anymore - the tug is not enough to remove the hair.

I live it a part of Canada where it is quite hot and humid in the summer and quite cold and dry in the winter, causing my wrists to change size by a notch. Not a big deal on a leather band with a classic hasp, but a pain with a stainless band that requires removing\replacing a piece.

The Milanese Loop band obviously solves this problem for me.

I was initially concerned as the strap was quite stiff, but it relaxed after about a week of use.

The metal clasp is significantly strong to hold the watch in place as recommended by Apple - tight enough to enable the sensors to work, but not too tight. I do find that it will loosen a bit, but not to the point of annoyance. I find myself adjusting it now and then without thinking about it, much as I do with my glasses.

This band has been a great product for me.

    Poor stap

    • Written by Robert F from York

The magnet is not strongenugh to hold tight to the strap! With movement of the wrist the wristband will slacken. If you are wearing a jacket or pullover the magnet will move! I am continually haveing to adjust the strap. I'm not impressed! Would not recommend this strap!

    Best band you could buy!

    • Written by Theofanis D from Vironas

Best band ever made by Apple for the Watch. You don't even feel it on your hand, the magnet is excellent, doesn't pull any hair (if you have any), doesn't scratch or make any marks with every day use! Overall, the best band I bought for my Watch.

I was given this band as a Christmas gift.

    • Written by Anthony M from BARRINGTON

I would never have bought myself this band since I gravitate towards imitation leather (I'm vegan) and the sport bands more.
I do have to say it's a nice band. I cant say it's $150. nice. I have the same loop style band on a watch that cost $50 total and that Milanese loop band is just as nice, if not a little nicer in its finish.

The magnet does slip a lot. I find myself tightening it at my desk when the only activity I've been taking part in is desktop computing.

I will say this, it looks GREAT with my ceramic Edition watch! The stainless steel against the white case is very reminiscent of the first few series of iPods and the esthetic of the G4 iMac. Very turn of the century Apple.

    Great strap

What's great about the strap is that when your wrists expand with the heat you can alter the strap exactly.
    Would highly recommend.

    Nice, but....

    • Written by Steven W from Houston

It is a beautiful band and very comfortable wearing it. However, I have a tendency to comb my hair and scratch my head using my watch wearing hand when writing. The band would pull out several of my hairs, give me a sharp sensation, and kick my muse away. I have to replace it with something else if I want to continue to write.

    Great Strap BUT.

    • Written by Marilyn Q from Welling

I love this strap, I was worried that it would fall off my wrist as I have a very small wrist and this does not come in different sizes like some of the other models. I am female and wanted the larger 42mm model. I have had mine for a year. It has lasted well even when exercising with this. The only down fall it does move a lot, as I have to put gloves over wrist area for work.
