    Awesome Product

Obviously for IOS users its the best wireless earphones. If sound quality is important to you then thats your product.
If its only for calls so AirPods are the right choice.
The Lighting fast charging is in my eyes the key feature here, I don't even remember charging it!
just one thing to improve is to make it sweat proof and to make a case that fits the earphones better.

    3 white lights of doom

One morning on my way to school, I was pairing my earbuds to my iPhone 7. Press the power button, three white flashes in quick succession. Try again, same result. Three times lucky? Apparently so, I managed to pair them for the day and after that I didn’t have a problem. Until the next morning when I notice that the charging indicator is going red white red repeat. (I always leave them on charge overnight and always, the indicator is white for 100%) alarmed, I whisked them off the table and hold the power button, SUPRISE I get three white flashes. Again. Same result. Again. Same result. I continued to desperately bring my headphones back to life to no avail. I googled “beats X three white flashes” and it seems that this is a recurring issue. Three results instructed to A) perform a factory reset (hold power button for longer than you can comfortably count in your head) nope. B) same as factory reset except hold down the volume down key simultaneously. Nope. C) factory reset whilst simultaneously holding pause key. Again. NO. I will be bringing them in to the Apple store to see what they can do but I will hopefully, get a refund/in store credit because this is a seemingly regular problem and Apple has not released a statement about it to my knowledge. Perhaps the extra 40 dollars Canadian would have been worth it and I just should’ve gotten the AirPods as inferior as they may seem.

    My favorite headphones

I've used Beats headphones since before they were owned by Apple. I bought these for college back in July because I figured they'd be easier to deal with than headphones connected to my phone. The bluetooth pairing was seamless with my 7 and even with my Windows computer. The battery gets me through a long day on campus and takes very little time to fully charge. Comfortable, clear, and consistent. Definitely recommend.

    Love these earbuds!

I really do enjoy listening to music with these earbuds. I've ordered these for my brother and I gave it a shot, and it sounded way better than what I expected. I thought it would sound like Beats Solo's, but it sounded really amazing! And with the W1 chip inside, connecting to this to my iPhone 7 is real easy. Would recommend!

Very Impressed!!!!! Not like beats in ears of old

These Beats X in ears are excellent! The best feature is the ease of connectivity and use with iOS. It is super quick and effortless. The old ‘childish thumping bass’ is gone from these in ears and I like that it has. The best way to describe these are they are just an easy listen. Light around the neck and in the ears, fool proof connectivity and sound that isn’t excellent class leading but at the same time isn’t terrible trash that people often say the Beats brand is. I definitely recommend

    Good sound, bad fit

At first I was happy that they came with multiple sizes of ear tips and even with wingtips to keep them secure in your ear. I guess I have smaller ears, so the smallest ear tip fits my ear, but they're too small for the small wingtip! So I can either wear the right size eartip with no wingtip, or an eartip too big with a wingtip. They really should have made the wingtip fit with all of the eartips. At least the sound is good.

    Very decent pair of earphones

    - Received as part of Apple's 'Back-to-school' promotion
    - Used for about 15 hours
    - Usage: Working, travelling

    The good:

    - Design: I chose the blue design, it's a very lovely colour—not too bold nor too blend
    - Fit: People complain the part of the cable that rests gently on the neck; however, I find it ergonomically sound, my earphones stays at the same position throughout my usage (I own another brand of earphones that has a shorter cable so it dangles, moves more and barely rests on my neck, jerky movements and my earphones becomes a little loose.
    - Fit: I used the default ear tips, quite good for noise cancelling
    - Battery: Love this one—power charge (5 mins for 2 hours) and a full charge (less than an hour for around 7 hours of usage)
    - Battery: Get to use my iPhone 6 cable to charge
    - Performance: Cannot compare to my high-end Shure but has clarity and a slight strong bass
    - Performance: Bluetooth range is superb, still works when I use the washroom

    The bad:
    - Slightly pricey, could be reduced to about SGD $150 MSRP
    - Better case (had to google how to fit the earphones into the case—no joke wait till you try
    - Longer charging cable
    - This one stands out a lot—the charging port is exposed (there is no cap), very very poorly designed in this area.

The best pair of headphones I've owned in a long time.

So I recently bought a pair of apple AirPods which I love. But they don't cancel any outside noise so in a crowded place so you can't hear anything. Now the beats X are a different story. Although not "wireless" it helps you not losing them. It has incredible noise cancellation for earbuds. Its not very hidden but makes you look normal as the AirPods make you look like an alien. In the package includes different types of earbuds and hooks for your ears. As it has bluetooth it has the W1 chip installed. This allows for easy pairing with an iPhone. It charges through a lightning port but does not include a brick for the usb, it takes roughly 3 hours for a full charge. There is a case included with the earbuds, but it does not help whatsoever. You may as well stuff them in your pocket. For $10 less than the AirPods its a pretty good deal. If you want noise cancelling, good looking and great sounding earbuds then look no further.

received the item today and returned it today.

Don't like the string around my neck.

The sound quality not quite as I expected. When return it in the Apple Store, I tried the new AirPods which is much more better in sound quality than this Bests X. I have order that instead.

    It gradually grows on you

First when i got my headphones i was not happy with the sound, i guess it was because i was used to Marshall headphones. But after a week with it, the convenience of it, the gradually adapting sound and the easiest pairing. After a week the sound changed i guess it adapted the songs i had in my playlist, i don't know what but it now feels good. yes it not that bassy but its natural. I would like to say that if u are looking for a bass heavy headphones don't go for it but if u want a casual everyday natural sounding bluetooth headphones with the convenience offered it is definitely worth it. BLUE is the way to go.

    Beats X earphones

These headphones were easy to set up and great sound quality. I'm happy with this expensive purchase.
By the way they come with a 3 month free trial to Apple Music.

    Waited but now disappointed

I waited a long time for these to be introduced. I ordered them immediately and upon receiving them was somewhat disappointed. I had several issues with them dropping calls. Then when I was listening to music no matter what the volume was, when a call came in it the ring would be full blast and blow out my eardrums. The tone quality was less than I expected, I have a pair of the corded beats and the tone quality is much better. Tried to work with AppleCare in rectifying the problem with no success, so I sent them back.

Nice headphones, They do everything I want

I've had these a few days and I really like them. The new W1 chip is a deal breaker over any other bluetooth device. Pairs instantly and easily with all of your Apple devices and switching is extremely easy. I was thinking about the Ear-pods but I don't like the fact that they only have one button to either stop music or activate Siri. Beats X has volume control and play/pause/ Siri control. Sound is very good, They are very lightweight and you can carry them around your neck all day and forget they are there with the back to back magnet connection. Battery life is as advertised for 8 hours and they fully charged less than an hour.

Beats X excellent all round except the long delay to actually get them

Great sound, I heard bass was poor but I'm not at all disappointed with bass thinks it's 100%, I have yet to test the noise cancelling but so far 100% the price is just a consequence of buying beats and now apple so overal 100% quality very comfortable would without question recommend, another touch of genius from apple

    only ok, SO overpriced

the sound is flat & tinny. there isn't a battery level indicator when connected to my iphone. today was the first day i had them for work & the fully charged battery lasted the whole work day (for me) & fully recharging did take less than an hour. these fit well and are extremely comfortable in my ears; the hard plastic apple earbuds chafe my ears to the point of bleeding so this is a nice change for me. they don't shift on my neck too much so they are less annoying than my $13 wireless pair in that aspect. i only use 1 bud at a time (so i can hear what's going on around me) but the shape of the airpods literally make my ears bleed so i couldn't get those. if apple made the AirPods shaped like beatsx i totally would have bought them instead so i could use 1 at a time while the other charged without having the annoying rubber band around my neck. the sound on my cheap-o wireless earbuds is WAY better than these, but a full charge only lasted about 4 hours and they shift on my neck a lot. i guess the trade off is subpar sound for not having to recharge during my work day.

    Decent Pair of Bluetooth Earphones

I have been using the BeatsX (blue) since taking delivery from Apple.com several days ago. My initial impression is positive. The Xs paired flawlessly with my iThingies and volume never had to be raised greater than mid-level. Phone call clarity is good. The phones fit well and are comfortable. The design is balanced with one apparent flaw: the Lightning jack is exposed inferring potential damage from sweat or water. They offer reasonable passive sound isolation--even while riding the NYC subway--as long as the earpieces are set properly in the ear canal. Bass response is somewhat tamed compared to most Beats products but still adequate even for EDM fans. Unfortunately flatter bass response appears to have resulted in an increase in simbilance. Vocals however never sound harsh. Overall, sound appears somewhat veiled and sounds clearly heard on my reference wired phones (Shure 846) are subdued or laid-back on the Xs. Soundstage is decent with instruments and vocals sufficiently placed in space. Although far from perfect, the BeatsX offer an overall pleasant musical experience across my eclectic mix of music including EDM, Alternative, Adult, and Pop. As long as you are aware of the limitations of the current state of Bluetooth technology and the hefty premium you must pay for wireless over a comprable sounding pair of wired phones, the BeatsX is highly recommended.

Excellent Fit, Great Sound, Long Battery

I was very excited when these were first announced. I was sad that it took so long for it to finally come out... Before they did, I got a chance to try the AirPods. They sounded good, but I could hear everything. On my commute, the noise of the train overtook the noise of the music. That, and in my quiet office, people around me could hear the music leak if I had the volume set to anything higher than 4 out of 10.

Then these came along. They create a wonderful seal that blocks noise; "noise isolation" is what it's called. They sound crisp. They are comfortable. They don't bother those around me, and honestly, you can't feel them when wearing them.

I highly recommend people give these a try. They are fantastic and well worth the wait.

    WOW!!! Fantastic sound

wow, These things are off the hook , very loud, crisp and very comfortable in the ears, can not even tell you wearing them, i have 6 pairs of head phones and these are far ahead of all of them (bowers, B&O, R.H.A , jaybirds, apple ear bud) these beat all those. Was able to go about 60 feet without any static and there was walls in the way so the sound does not drop at all, very easy to pair with apple equipment, did not try on android cause i am bias towards apple! i wold pick these of the airs pods only cause they are more comfortable and they have the color i like!
