    Good headphones in terms of ease of use

    Yet they break from normal use and APPLE refuse to help and state that accidental damage has occurred. Awful they should be ashamed.

    And they stop working just outside warranty period....

    Uk repair cost 65 gbp

    I don’t fancy buying a new pair every 14 months

    This is my second pair of Beats that did not even last 18 months. Way too expensive product to not last.

    First pair just stopped working. Still under warranty, sent it out for 'repair'. When it came back, it STILL didn't have full functionality.
    Expensive and poorly made. APPLE absolutely needs to stop selling these headsets.

    Second pair faulty

    the first pair I bought suddenly had the red flashing light and the second one stopped working in the right ear. Both just after crossing the 1 yr warranty mark. Not worth the price. No more beats for me.

    I would love to review this product but immediately out of the box they did not work. At all. The light came on when they were charging but no help forum or guide or instruction manual from the box could make anything else happen. Judging based on the other reviews, they are selling an extremely faulty product.

    I had my first pair for under a year, they randomly stopped working so i got a second pair and not even after 3 months they stopped working as well. shocking for the price. I will be shopping elsewhere

    I’m currently on my third pair of beats x headphones:( the first pair unfortunately decided to stop charging after 13 months of ownership Apple was no support and did not provide any kind of assistance other than a repair bill to take care of the issue. I really like the headphones and they sound good so I decided to buy another pair, they quit after 11 months and Apple sent me another pair to replace them that pair lasted two months..........two months!!!!!! To Bad for me! Apple wants $95 dollars to repair when I can buy at Walmart for $109! These headphones will die on you in less than 14 months Do Not Buy!

    Loved them, until I didn't!

    I received mine about 15 months ago and only used them occasionally without problem. Then it started turning off without warning so I did a reset, no help. Shortly after that I had power issues, the earbuds would not turn on. At all. I plugged them in, did an update and made sure there was a full charge but it was no use. The repair cost is within $14 of a brand new pair. So I logged in to buy another pair only to see the very low rating on Apple.com. After reading the comments from other users, I believe this product falls below my expectations of Apple products. I would recommend you buy another wireless earbud product and avoid this one.

    Broken after a year

    1 year 2months in, warranty is out...perfect time to break and that's what happened. One side is louder than the other now. Updated firmware, factory reset it, nothing.

    Not worth it!

    I got these last July and they have broken down twice since then. The first time they were under warranty so I got them replaced for free, but since the warranty is only good for a year when my second pair broke down in September they weren't covered. It would have cost me basically the price of a new pair to get them fixed. Knowing the quality of these headphones I'd rather pay twice as much for something I don't have to replace every 6 months.

    Do not last

    Really good headphones, but keep breaking. Won't connect or won't turn on. Need to be reset every time they actually do turn on. Had them replaced twice while still under the 1 year warranty but now that they need replacing again, the fee for "repair" is $86 which is basically the cost of a new pair. Would not recommend.

    I purchased these BeatsX a few months ago, I would use them quite frequently but I was never too rough on them... About a week ago I went to turn them on and they constantly disconnected and reconnected nonstop while blinking red and white. I even followed the procedures on the Beats website in order to reset them and so far it was of no help. Currently I sent them to apple for repairs and I haven't heard back and its been 7 days... Would definitely not purchase again, also not to mention they are nowhere worth the price listed considering they sound as any generic headphones should and will sound like. Very cheaply made, uncomfortable, and of course, easily break at random.

    Terrible product! They simply stopped working right after the warranty period. Took them in for repair to the Apple Store and they want to charge me $70 usd. This has happened to me twice now, first time I fell for it, now I’m buying a different brand.

    Sound quality is good.

    Would love it if they lasted

    I workout a lot and work construction so move a lot. The long neck wires and magnetic earbuds are great for not loosing them with movement and dampening noisy environments. I tried out my wife's pair and loved them so she got me some! The convince of just having to bring a single lightning charger is great for work. Sadly in less than a year they stopped working so I started borrowing hers and within a month the same thing happend. Really love every other aspect except the headphones but the short life of them is a deal breaker, really expected more quality from Apple and Beats :(

    I have had 3 pairs of BeatsX break. There is a clear issue with the battery and charging. Expect a max life of one year.

    These headphones die with the warranty - not happy

    I have happily used BeatsX for 18 months. They now will not pair or connect despite repeated attempts to reset. They are just out of warranty and it seems its bad luck. I will not buy these again. I expect for the price that they would last at least 5 years or more.

    1 Year Warranty for a Reason

    If you want to be extremely disappointed, then these are the headphones for you. You can keep them as safe and protected as possible and they will still break. At first I thought I had gone temporarily deaf since the idea of my relatively new earphones from a seemingly reputable source breaking was unfathomable. As luck would have it, it was not my eardrums, but my expensive earphones. Moreover, when I tried valiantly to get these repaired I was told they were barely outside my warranty and there was nothing to be done. I have never been more frustrated or disappointed in a purchase and will only buy products from Apple competitors from now on. However, if you want headphones that will cost a lot and break after a year, these are the ones for you.

    Sound great, but poor build quality would put you off

    I bought these for use at the gym. I seldom used them as my AirPods actually stayed in my ears when working out.
    Decided to get the beats back out after a few months in storage however the battery is completely dead, and the charging system will no longer detect it. They're just outside their warranty and I'm not prepared to pay the £65 to get them repaired. I'd recommend a different brand like Bose SoundSports if you want something similar.
