Definitely one of the better band types.

I first bought this style during the Series 2. In brief, I love it. It's a great way to add personality to the watch in a way that is functional and attractive but isn't flashy or uncomfortable to wear. I love the comfort of it and despite the cost, you can be certain of quality as it feels very good in the hand, like your money is worth something.

I stay with first-party bands because I don't want to risk my watch flying off due to a faulty build and getting damaged.

My only complaint is that sometimes Apple chooses some very obtuse colors for their options, for details, see the current lineup. One neutral, two blues and an orange is weird for some people, definitely was off-putting for me since I like to stay neutral so it won't clash with what I'm wearing. The band does get more comfortable over time and develops a unique patina from the oils on our skin, so for those turned off by how it comes out of the box, know that it doesn't remain that way.

I've gotten more comments on this type of band than the others I've got and for something you can wear out or to work, It's excellent.

For those who are teetering on the size issue, if you think you need the large, go for it. If you're close to the end of the medium spectrum, the band won't secure as well.
