With Apple Trade In, it’s easy to trade in your eligible device for instant credit towards a new iPhone.

Here’s how it works:

1. See what your smartphone is worth. Answer a few questions to determine the value of your smartphone. We’ll apply the value as an instant credit to lower the price of a new iPhone.
2. Get it ready to trade in. After you’ve bought your new iPhone, we’ll show you how to prepare your smartphone for trade-in.
3. Exchange your smartphone when we deliver your iPhone. When we arrive at your delivery location, we’ll run a diagnostic test and verify the condition on the spot. When everything checks out, your trade-in and purchase are complete.

If there’s an issue with your trade-in. You can still get your new iPhone. If your trade-in doesn’t pass the diagnostic test or the condition doesn’t match what you described, we’ll offer you a choice. You can accept and pay the difference between the trade-in credit you already received and the revised value of your device.
