Here's the answer: 1) Open the App Store (if you don't see it, type in "App Store" using Search from top right hand corner) 2) Navigate to Categories from tool bar at top (in the middle, next to Top Charts and Purchased) 3) Now look in top right corner of App Store window and under Quick Links you will see Redeem (this text is gray and hard to see) 4) Click on Redeem 5) Enter code Hope this help anybody else from wasting as much time as I wasted on this...

You need to have a Core 2 duo, I3, I5 or I7 processor, 2GB of RAM and 7GB of free space on your HD. If you've got that you're good to go.

Like you, I am stuck on 10.6.8 and seems that in order to continue to get upgrades on software i run i need to upgrade. I am not a professional computer consultant although I have been using Macs for over 25 years. Be sure to back up your computer to an external hard drive or cloud service before upgrading. Use the time machine application on your computer to do this. It is very self explanitory. Good luck.
