OS 10.9 Go to the App Store app on your Mac and download/install the free OS 10.11 (El Capitan).

OS 10.9 (Mavericks) and OS 10.10 (Yosemite) are no longer available as all Macs that could support either of those two OS X versions can also support OS 10.11 (El Capitan).

OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) is available by purchasing a redemption code through the online Apple Store. Instructions will be provided to redeem the code through the App Store app in order to download/install OS 10.8.

Note that whichever OS X you want to install must be compatible with your Mac's hardware, so check the system requirements of each OS X version.
