  • If you've got the V2 (Square) Hue bridge set up to use Homekit, then it should all just work.

  • Yes it will work with Phillips HUE. Simply say “hey Siri” and she will operate like using your iPhone or other Apple devices.

  • For us it has been a horrendous experience due to Philip's unstable platform. We mostly hear "Some of your devices are not responding, check the home app for more details." This happens even when it controls all lights without issue. In the situations where there are issues, if you immediately re-issue the same command it will work.

The quality of the Philips systems are abysmal.

  • Yes, as the HomeKit works with Hues, and the HomePod works with HomeKit. They will function together.

  • I can control my Philips hue lights with the HomePod just as I can control them using voice commands from my iPhone. I find it to be more responsive so far.
