  • Unfortunately, both OS 10.9 (Mavericks) and OS 10.10 (Yosemite) are not available because any Mac that could run those two operating systems can also run OS 10.11 (El Capitan).

The only OS X versions that I know of that are still available from Apple are OS 10.6 (purchase an install disk from online Apple Store), OS 10.7 and OS 10.8 (both purchased via redemption codes at online Apple Store), and OS 10.11 (free install direct via the App Store app).

Only exception, I think, is if your Apple ID was used to install an OS X from OS 10.7 and up, then you can download and install that OS X again (including OS 10.9 and OS 10.10) using the same Apple ID.

Note: You can upgrade directly from any OS X version (from OS 10.6.8 and up) to any later available OS X version. No need to upgrade to intermediate OS X versions.
