    2 GB is good. Minimum memory requirement for Snow Leopard is 1GB.

    Make sure your Mac is Intel-based. Snow Leopard will not work on PowerPC-based Macs.

  • Snow Leopard will run with 2GB of RAM, but if you frequently use more than one program at a time, it will run more smoothly with at least 4GB.
