Yes it can!! Just remove the Smart Cover from the Urban case and you are set to go!!

Yes you can. Keep in mind that you will lose the Apple Pencil holder when you remove the UAG cover to attach the Smart Keyboard. The Smart Keyboard works well with the UAG case. No problems with the case interfering with the magnet.

The Smart Keyboard will NOT fit an Urban Armour Gear Case. The UAG Case is too thick and does not supply enough clearance to the Smart Connector to the side of the iPad. In addition to that, even if you could connect it, the thickness of the UAG case will prevent the iPad from sitting properly against the "triangle" that creates the stand on which the iPad leans on. I would think this would be the case with any third party case thicker than the iPad Pro Silicone Case made by Apple.
