Does the dock have a remote sensor at the front so I can use my Apple TV remote to control my iPhone while it plays music(like original iPod dock)?
For $79 would love to be able to use this dock with my older Onkyo amplifier that does not support iPhone usb to be able to play my music

No, there is no remote sensor on this dock.
