Can Snow function with only 1 GB of memory or do I need to purchase more for my 2007 MacBook?

The minimum system requirement for 10.6 Snow Leopard is 1 GB of memory. However, I would consider upgrading to at least 2 GB of memory if you plan to use memory-intesive applications like iMovie or intend to consistently run multiple applications simultaneously. You will notice significant system-wide performance increases if you upgrade both the memory and the operating system.
