    There are 1024 MB in one GB, the same where there are 1024 GB in one TB.

  • There is precisely 1000GB to 1TB.

    Only use 1024 when going kiB, MiB, GiB, TiB.
    Note that 1024 is proprietary JEDEC value.

    The SI value is 1000 precisely. This value is always used for information theory and communications.
