Will these displays support daisy chaining? I.E. MacBook Pro -> Display 1 -> Display 2 all with a single USB C - Thunderbolt 3 cable?

I asked LG the same question, here is their answer:
Regards on your concern the connection that you are trying to do is not possible. Using an adapter might put limitation is terms of resolution. Using adapter is also a trial and error method which means it might and might not work. What we recommend is to use straight connection.

No, I don't believe so. There is only one thunderbolt connection on this monitor. The remaining three connections are USB 3.1 gen 1. It would be a much lower resolution monitor to drive it off USB 3.1 gen 1 (5 Gbs). Whether the multiple USB ports could be used together to support a 4K monitor is doubtful.
When Apple says the MacBook Pro can drive two of these monitors they intend that both are connected directly to the MacBook Pro.

I would assume yes, but note you will need a 15" MacBook Pro 2016 to run more than one display.
