I was wondering if the Apple Pencil is compatable with the iPad mini 4.

Best Answer:An iPad mini 4 is an older version of the iPad. The Apple Pencil will only work on the newer models of the IPad line. Such as the IPad Pro line

No, when the Apple Pencil 1st gen came out, it was intended for the Pro series until in 2018 when Apple announced iPad 6. iPad 6 is the only one in the Original iPad line as of right now that supports the Apple Pencil.

I do not think you will need to. I know some apps have a option where you can use the Pencil to draw and your hand to scroll

Best Answer:I accidentally dropped my apple pencil in my foot bath with epsom salt . It took me 3 frantic hours to find it and I was devastaed! I quickly took the cap off, rinsed both pieces in water and dried them with a blow dryer, expecting the worst but hoping for the best. Much to my surprise it still works! That has been several days ago and so far so good. Time will tell!!

Does the level of the battery show one for ipad and one for the Apple Pencil. There is one there but I assumed it was for the ipad?

Best Answer:It does not show on the main battery indicator at the top right corner of the iPad screen. To check the battery for the pencil pull the notification screen down from the top of the iPad screen and swipe from left to right. If the battery widget is not showing go to the bottom of the page and click "Edit". Now scroll down till you see the widget for the battery display and activate it. Now click done at the upper right hand corner of the screen and scroll up till you see the new battery widget and if your pencil is paired with the pad you'll see the power level for the iPad & pencil.
