Great Sound!! (and the colour is nice too...)

I actually went into the store with the intention of buying the B&O Play H4's. I bought the Beoplay A2 Speaker last year and have been extremely happy with it so was headed for their headphones when I wanted to upgrade. But the Apple Store had them all out side by side and after the Apple Salesman wisely put the same song on to each of them I truly felt these had better sound than the B&O and the comparable Bose.

I've now made a number of long distance flights with them and love the sound, the comfort, the battery life and the quick charge capability. I like the hardshell case and the ability to wire in should the battery run out (although it hasn't yet).

If you're trying to decide between the Beats On Ear and the Studio Over Ear... the on ear are terrific, but they still sound like headphones. The Studio truly starts to sound like you're in a room with the artist. It's not just the clarity, it's a depth to the sound that doesn't seem to be right in your ear, but closer to being curled up in the living room with a really good stereo playing... or maybe even in a room with the artist, minus the screaming fans.

The Metallic Sky colour... really nice and just the icing on the cake!

    Cool but not great

I agree with previous reviewers that the look of these headphones is great. I love the sky color. However, compared to the Bose NC headphones, these are sorely lacking. I can hear a lot of external noise, especially when on a plane. I expected these to surpass the Bose but was disappointed. Having to "activate" the ANC to get better noise cancelling properties is unacceptable. These were a gift so I will keep them but wish I had received the Bose headphones instead.

    Brilliant piece of engineering

Bought these a month ago and have been thoroughly enjoying them, the sound quality is amazing and I love them. The charging holds well, I use them for running as well as just my normal train commute, the only annoying thing was that I could not have them playing on full volume on the train as others can hear it. Over all I am very satisfied with them plus shopping experience at the Apple Store was a cherry on the cake.

These Beats are the Ritz Carlton of Beats. My music experience has gone to a whole new level. I feel like I am in the studio with the artist that is how crisp the sound is. I can set my iPhone 6 plus down and walk around the house, even into the backyard and the Beats still work. These Beats were made with dedication and care to make the buyer 100% satisfied. It comes with a wire, so if you want to wire your Beats you can. When I walked into the Apple Store to purchase I recieved excellent customer service and the Apple Specialist shared in my excitement regarding the Beats. I would love to buy every friend and family member a pair. Thank you Beats for giving us quality and excellence. You take jamming out to a whole new level. Best, Josh

    Just perfect!

After several years using the Beats Studio first really new model could surpass all expectations. Just perfect, both in technical terms related to sound quality, the design. I recommend!

    Cool looking but...

The Beats by Dr. Dre line of headphones is far more attractive and trendy looking than the Bose line of headphones. But Bose headphones sound so much better! The decision between the Cool factor and Sound Quality should be easy, but coolness is hard to beat.
