Fast Charging, Long Lasting (with a little care)

I have had the 2m cable since the week it hit the shelves, I carry it in my bag every single day to work, and I use it to charge my devices no less than twice per week. I have never had a single problem with this cable or the USB-C 29W Power Adapter, and I cannot recommend this combination highly enough for anyone with an iPad Pro - the whole experience changes when you can charge it faster than you can drain it.

I have tried a lot of third party cables and they frequently form internal faults that prevent the device from holding a constant connection. Since I have had cables in the past crack and fray, I NEVER pack this cable while it is still connected to the 29W Adapter, and this simple disassembly seems to be enough to prevent problems.

This cable is so valuable to anyone with a more powerful device, and with a little care will last a long time. Absolutely worth $29!

Garbage quality cable. Dead in less than 60 days.

In November 2016 I bought a 29W USB-C charger and a 2m USB-C to lightning cable to fast charge my 12.9" iPad Pro. It worked fine for around a month, then started giving trouble now and then and now, less than two months later, is completely dead and won't charge any device I plug it in to (I've tried two iPhones and two iPad Pros). Apple charges a ridiculous price for these "genuine accessories" and the quality control is absolutely appalling. Disappointed beyond belief.

    Poor quality

Protective rubber coating frays at lightning connector exposing the wires. Not sure I want to invest $30 to have the same problem.

    Never buy an Apple charger.

These cords are nowhere near worth the money Apple asks for. One may think that if you go to the company that makes your phone to get your charger you are going to get the best product. This is wrong when it come to an iPhone charger. For 30 dollars you get 3 good months, maybe, before the smaller end of the cord twist, expose the wires and ultimately break the cord. This is my third charger in the part 18 months and I am not dealing with this cycle anymore. I will look for a cheaper charger with better quality somewhere else. I would recommend you do as well.

    Useful & Reliable

I've been using this cable with a small USB-C brick next to my nightstand for around 6 months and it's worked out great. I purchased this cable and power adapter because I have an iPad Pro 12" which charges substantially faster from the USB-C cable than a typical lightning charger. I chose the 2m cable so I could have my phone or iPad plugged in to charge while sitting in bed. The cable doesn't show any signs of strain, though I make a point to avoid twisting the end around too much.

bab quality of lightning to usb cable (2m)

It would help me to explain my pain of having a bad quality of apple lightning to usb cable after a year of use with it sitting on my office desk. if this site allows user to upload a photo shot of problem product .

After a year of weekdays usage of this calbe at my work desk , daily charge, the power charge still works but the rubber cover near the lightning connector (1 cm) seems tear off the near end of 2m thin rubber wrap. After the external rubber wrap tear off, the inner power cords are exposed. i think it is a bad quality of the material used for the 2m long rubber wrap.

My 5th Cable in 2 years, absolute rubbish.

It just breaks. this is an expensive accessory that you have to use daily and it inevitably begins working poorly in a few months. In some cases the iPhone has ceased to recognise the cable, sometimes even saying the cable is notan apple accessory (purchased from the Apple Store). The cable head seems to be the most fragile part. This charger should be free to replace with this price and abysmal quality.
