    Look nice but don't last

I like the design and feel but they are just not reliable. I've spent more time not being able to use them than actually using them. I've taken them to the Apple store 3 times and O still have issues with them every few weeks. One time the controllers stop working so I couldn't pause or move to the next song. Most recently they just won't charge. I really want to like them but I can't recommend them to anyone.

    Fantastic sports & activity headphones

I use these headphones daily while working out and doing chores around the house. They pair reliably with my iPhone, Apple Watch, and rMBP with easy switching between devices. They provide some noise isolation, but not so much that I feel cut off while out running. The customizable ear hooks hold them securely in place while running, flinging around kettlebells, or cranking out burpees while covered in sweat. Audio quality is fine for listening to music or podcasts while engaged in other activities, but they're no match for serious headphones like my AudioQuest Nighthawks for fully enjoying music. The microphone works great for making phone calls and seems to reject keyboard and other environmental noises well. I've had these headphones for about six months, and while the pricing is steep, they've been extremely reliable for me.

    disappointing

it's a mess when you use iphone, apple watch and PB3. It's impossible to control the volume, play, pause or forward with the earphones, instead of enjoying my excercise I'm fighting with the watch or phone to keep control of my music. Sometimes I can´t even switch off the earphones by pushing its button, so I need to switch off bluetooth on my iphone, and then try tu push off the button on the earphones. Some other times even when I stopped the music on my device, the earphones start playng randomly any playlist it finds. While you are doing some excercise, after some minutes without complaining... then volume starts lowering automatically, without pushing any button... so then starts another fight to turn it up directly on the iphone. When the PB3 works well I must admit the sound is very clear, high, and there´s no external noise. I find them comfortable, I really do not need to be adjusting all the time. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'll rate it on 2.5. I do have some other Beats products and those are great, no complain, but powerbeats 3 are really a pain.

    disappointed

Here's my 2nd review(and 2nd pair).I was way too nice last time. They just conked out on me mid run this morning.Just disconnected suddenly. I tried to reset them, didn't work. 1st pair lasted a year, 2nd pair only lasted 4 months.I'm going back to radioshack and buying a cheap pair of wired headphones for my workouts now. Sound quality wont be as good, but at least I know they won't break. Bad product, extremely unreliable.

    Very very poor quality

First one stopped working (couldn't be turned on) after 3 months with infrequent use. Called Apple Care, got a replacement. 2nd one stopped working (couldn't be charged) after another 3 months with infrequent use. I feel the Beats products do not hold the same quality as real Apple products. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SUCKER!

I expected better for the price

I have had my powerbeats 3 for about a week and a half now and am displeased to say the least, that I am already facing issues with them. The sound could be a bit louder however this is not the root of my problems. I have used them while skateboarding, working out or simply walking to class and have faced multiple incidents where they will randomly disconnect from my iPhone and cause the music to pause or stop playing. I have also tried to use them with my MacBook pro and just have not been able to successfully get them to pair. Even after reseting them and make sure their firmware was up to date I could only get them to pair after about 30 minutes of clicking the connect button on my mac. I am sure that my mac is not the issue as i have used my other earphones and speakers to connect and had no issue. Overall the earphones connect well with my phone with the exception of the two or three times they had disconnected.

    Don't Stay on my Ears

This product was sold to me on the premise that they are customizable and would fit perfectly to my ears, even while running. I am constantly adjusting them while walking, and I have tried all of the different buds that are provided with them. The sound quality is decent, but overall would not recommend these.

Don’t buy it for exercises! I’m in the 3rd in 8 months!

If you run or sweat during classes or academy lifiting weight, this could be a big waste of money!! I’ve purchased mine in February and the blietooth just didn’t work. So I’ve changed for a new one in an authorized dealer ( inside garantee). So I wore during bike rides and walks. I always wear my 15 dollar skull candy sports for heavy duty exercises (running and lifting weights). So when I decided to wear PB3 in june cuz’ they were supposedly made for exercises, in the very first heavy sweating gym class, the device failed when I started to sweat. And I decided to use my skull candy, that delivers a better sond and It was really sweat proof ( no bluetooth of couse). In late september I decided to make a long run with de PB3 (2+hours). And I regretted after one hour and a half. It just stopped working completely. So I’ve changed within the garantee for the thrid time. It’s kind of ridiculous paying $199,00 for a device that just doesn’t work with sweat. And I’m not alone on this complain. Read other reviews and youwill see. I wish I could see my money back or get a PB3 that sondes better and doesnt hace issues. Instead, Beats is still announcing PW3...shame!!!

A COMPLETE JOKE OF A PRODUCT

Currently on my 2nd pair of Powerbeats 3 in less than 5 months! I’ll now be going on my 3rd pair once I visit apple again this week to have mine replaced AGAIN! Beats by Dre are clearly overrated! You’d assume they be of quality considering they’re owned by apple but they are complete trash! Somebody should sue apple for false claiming their products! These pieces of trash turn off on my before or in the middle of my work out once I start sweating! AVOID, go with Bose that’s quality sound right there.

    Better then other Reviews State

I read through the other reviews before I purchased these and I was thinking I was making a mistake.
Then I took the chance. I feel they are well worth it. I had them for some time now and I have sweated on them, got them wet a few times etc so for durability I give them a straight 5 stars.
Sound quality for a wireless blue tooth head set I feel is fantastic especially compared to many others I have used. They are absolutely a step ahead.
Battery life you can't ask for more time. They last what feels like forever. The first charge I thought would never wear out. So many workouts and weeks would go by and they still have plenty of power. Your iPhone tells you the % of life left each time you connect to them.
Comfortable as I barely notice I'm wearing them after a while especially when I'm working out. I forget they are there other then the fact I'm listening to music.
I say good luck finding a better all around headphones. I find them to be top notch.

    6 weeks

Worked for six weeks. Purchased on 9/3/17. Used as advertised (for working out). After six weeks, would not connect to any device. After recharging, turned on but still would not connect. After turning off to try to reset, would not turn back on. Probably the worst wireless earphones on the market. DO NOT BUY. Apple service is horrible on helping you out too.

    Powerbeats 3

I will like to argue that these are the best headphones for the price and for the built quality, as well as the sound quality and that it is much more convient than other beats headphones. I had studio wireless 2.0 and I bought these for the gym, I enjoyed them so much I got rid of the my studios and stook with these and it’s almost been a year now since I bought them and I have no complaints at all. The studios wireless 2.0 were obviously the best headphones on the market, but comparing to the convience between the two for daily usage and sound quality I would much more rather to go with the Powerbeats 3...

    Won't charge or turn on

I have had these beats for a little less than two months and they will not turn on or charge. I have tried everything and not sure what the problem is. For a product so expensive they should make sure they actually work

    disappointing

Honestly, this is one of the most frustrating product ever. As a long distance runner I had searched and searched for headphones that met my needs in sound quality, fit, and durability. I initially thought I had found this in the powerbeats 3. The sound is perfect for me; better than anything I had ever used. The fit is perfect for me, which is saying a lot because I have never found any wireless headphones that stayed in while running.

But that brings us to durability. If you scroll down this review board you will see the same story: there is some kind of moisture-related flaw in the design. Considering this is a sports-themed product, this is completely unacceptable. You really have to wonder about who tested these things.

Basically, these headphones will work perfectly for a short amount of time. My 1st pair lasted about 2 months. Then it WILL begin lower the volume on its own--theres your first indicator that they are going to die out. Like any runner wants to fiddle with the volume constantly. Soon you cannot turn on or turn off without resetting them...

The Apple service store will be gracious and apologize and have a new pair sent to you. And they will send you a refurb, which WILL do the same thing. My second pair lasted about 3 weeks.Repeat process.

After receiving another refurb, I tried to wrap the volume control mechanism in plastic wrap and electrical tape to keep the moisture out. My 3rd pair last 1 week....

So I guess ill be repeating this madness until my warranty wears out.

    Don't Waste Your Money!

Worst wireless headphones I've ever used. They work well for like a week and then they don't hold a charge... and eventually they don't even turn on anymore. I've returned these and received a new pair literally 4 times in the past year and every time the same thing happens. So many better wireless headphones out there.

    Don’t waste your money

These are the worst headphones I’ve had and I will not be buying another pair nor anything else that’s” BEATS” Also don’t waste your time sending to Apple to fix because they will say it’s your fault and you will have to pay. The flexible ear attachment part happened to break off my headphones in less than 2 months ! Still covered under manufacture warranty might I add but Apple says it’s my fault and pay 100 dollars for new ones..

Great sound and battery life compared to Powerbeats 2, shotty build quality

I own two pairs of the Powerbeats 3 and a pair of Powerbeats 2, and have done some intense listening and comparing.
Sound and battery life have greatly increased which is great, I have however over the course of less then a year needed to replace both pairs via apple due to the mic/controller buttons failing. In both cases it happened after a sweaty work out or light rain during a bike ride or run, things that should never be an issue with sports earbuds. It would be nice if they extended warranty for existing users as there is clearly a build flaw in terms of the buttons and waterproofing.

So far, I am really impressed

I just got the Powerbeats 3 for only 4 days and I'm really satisfied with my purchase so far, battery life is so impressive it lasts more than 12 hours I use it all day long litterly at work, home and when I'm commuting on my bike around town, it fits well and never fall out of place the wire sometime can be annoying but not that much, sound quality is fair with plenty of bass but it can be improved by using a good equalizer app I have Dolby Atom which came bundled with my Lenovo K6.
If things stay the same and never experienced what other reviewer is complaining about, Definitely gonna buy another Beats products it really worth it

    I love these

Now I'm no audiophile so I don't know a thing about bass, treble and whatnot, but what I do know is that I love these earphones. I wanted something sturdy to wear during the gym or when out walking and these are perfect. They block out sounds of other people at the gym so I don't get distracted but when out walking it doesn't completely block out noise, which I find great because it still makes me aware while listening to music or playing a podcast. The volume control is easily accessible and they fit like a charm. I can't rate them highly enough.
