    Doesn't work in cold temperatures

In live in the north, and it's cold all year. Headphones work great indoors, but the headphones will die within 15 minutes after a full charge in the temperatures that I live in. This makes it impossible to leave my headphones in my car, or listening to music outside. If you live in cold climates, do not get these headphones.

    Amazing...while they lasted

Bought a blue pair of these about a year ago. I absolutely loved them. Great sound, great fit, kept a charge all day, and easy to use. However, they stopped charging one day after about 6 months. I never got them wet or dirty, so it seemed odd. I've wanted to buy another pair sooo bad, but because of how long they lasted i can't bring myself to do it. I've had other headphones in jobs doing demolition in all types of weather that have lasted 3 times longer. These ones I sat in a machine and walked around the mall most of the time with.

    Terrible headphones for working out

Do NOT buy these if you intend to workout with them. They start malfunctioning the moment they get any sweat on them and then die. I've gone through a couple pairs because I kept thinking it was a fluke. I spoke with Apple support and they assured me they are good for all workouts except swimming. They're not. It is a waste of money to workout in.

worst experience and such a waste of money

Max usage is less than10 hours and already started facing issues. Bluetooth does not connect and power does not turn off, and this is not at all sweat proof, I used this for one hour during my workout and all these issues started.I am totally disappointed with this product. Now I have to visit service provider, waste of time and money.

Would give zero stars if possible

Worst headphones I have ever owned. I thought they might be fake, but they can't be because I bought them from Best Buy. I have literally bought a $12 pair of headphones from a pharmacy with better audio quality. I hope Best Buy will take these back, they're garbage.

Not Sweat Proof!!!!! Do not buy!

I sweat a lot at the gym, on my second day of using my new powerbeats3 headphones, about half way through my workout, the headphones began turning down the volume and even paused the music several times. Then after all that they would not turn off. I was hoping theses headphones were the answer to my headphone problems, they sound great and are pretty comfortable, but I was disappointed. I will be taking these back to the store and trying the bose!

    Not impressed - returning

Have Beats Noise Cancelling for flying, so bought these for working out. Very unimpressed with sound quality. Virtually no low-end bass is even present. The standard iPhone 6 headphones have much better sound than these. I liked the idea of going wireless, but they also do not stay in your ears, despite adjustments and different sized ear buds. Seem to be good build quality, but I need better sound quality than this for the money. Disappointed.

    Disappointed

I am so disappointed with my beats wireless earphones. They are expensive and don’t deliver what they have promised! When they work they are great but most of the time they malfunction. Headphones that can’t get any sweat on them are useless (even though I am really careful and have taped the volume control with sticky tape). My malfunctioned in the first week and have subsequently have had ongoing issues, after week 1 I have not been able to use the on/off button or volume control. I will definitely be sending mine back now that I realise this is a problem other people are experiencing. What a let down. Karen

    Perfect!!!

Recently got these as a Christmas present as had Powerbeats2 before, these do not fail to please and excel the previous generation especially with their sound quality. I was unsure whether to transition from wired to wireless earphones but Dr Dre finds a middle of the road compromise by adding a very short cord! This provides a further sense of security and snug fit whilst giving comfort/leeway in the chord. Lastly, the only slight drawback this has is that the earphone structure is significantly bulkier than the previous generation and takes some getting used to visually but hey, it’s wireless…

    Not sweat proof at all

This is the first ever review I am writing. The powerbeats sound really good and they never fall off during workouts but if you sweat, do not buy them!!! I had to replace mine after an intense workout, due to sweating the battery was not charging and a white light was blinking 3 times. It happened again to the brand new ones I have got after replacing my first pair. Come on apple, is it really that hard to build a headphone that doesn't break? Bring Steve Jobs back to life if necessary.

    Not reliable

Bought mine 12/30/16. First pair died in a month, never accepted a charge. Apple said the USB connection was bad. Second pair worked fine until yesterday. Wow Apple...one year then dead. So impressed with the quality.

Worst experience with wireless earphones ever

These were my first pair of wireless earphones. I've had 3 pairs of the beats pro's with a wire and loved them. After purchasing these headphones about a week later they would always die 30-45 minutes in to my workout. I always charge them a minimum of 3-4 hours a day before I workout so as advertised if charged for 5 minutes they work an hour so 3-4 hours of charging "SHOULD" be an ample amount. I've had to return for "repair" these earphones at least 4 times over the past 4-5 months and it's really become a headache. I'm actually about to call after this review because the same thing occurred again yesterday. It's not rocket science, charge them, make sure they're connected, workout, and repeat. This new pair I received less than a week ago and now during my 2nd workout, they died 45 minutes in to my workout again!! When I got to the gym they had the white light which "guarantees" up to 12 hours of charge.

    Disappointing

I bought these three days ago and have run with them the past two days. Both days they powered down 5 minutes into my run. The fit is great and the sound is great as well. Unfortunately neither of these do me any good when they won’t stay powered up. Going to try the Bose I’ve read good reviews about.

    Design Flaw

I do not normally write review but I feel strongly that this product is flawed and, as there are equivalent products out there, I wanted other consumers to be aware. I have had two pairs of these headphones (2 different generations) and both have failed in exactly the same place. There is a stress point in the structure of the casing of the headphone on the side where you plug in to charge, which makes it easy for the ear bud section to crack and fall off. on both occasions the headphones were in their case in my bag (which was just been used for normal commuting use) when this happened. This product will not last, which sadly may be the business model for this particular brand. For a product with this price tag and a company that prides itself on design, it demonstrates a lack of respect to their customers to keep reproducing and selling it without fixing it.

    Best I've ever had

Good quality sound, bass is extremely good and gives a new feeling to the music. Great for gym, very secure; doesn't feel like anything is in your ear. Definitely would recommend. Very pleased

    Not impressed with accessory quality

My son received a pair for Christmas, he had been using his brothers powerbeats 2. Today he showed me the case they are to be kept in. What a far cry from the previous version. It is a rubber case, with no closure on top, reminding me of those old rubber change purses from 1980. The previous Powerbeats had a hard zippered case. I am concerned about them getting broken in his basketball bag, where he keeps his headphones 99.9% of the time when not in use. I contacted Apple support and the only option I was given was to look online for a hard case, possibly for $1 or less. My review is as much for the price one pays for this product, the accessories should be above and beyond to protect that product. I would expect a case like this from a $15 pair bought at a big box store.
