    Absolute garbage

Had two pairs of Powerbeats 2 that worked fine - the ear hooks separated though after about 1 year of heavy use so I had to replace. Powerbeats 3 (now made by apple) - first pair lasted 2 months, then random disconnects, volume problems, etc. Got a replacement pair at Costco that literally lasted one day. Second day dropped connection, lights flashed, reset did nothing.

Believe the reviews, these headphones are absolute garbage and a waste of money. Hopefully Apple knows the design flaw at this point and will correct with the next model. If I had to guess it's the chip in the unit since that's the only thing that changed since they were taken over by Apple. Maybe sweat gets into it and it fries, I don't know. But clearly there's a major design flaw.

    Buy Airpods instead

These are truly terrible headphones. I can't understand how Apple can put their name to these. It's pretty much pot luck as to whether they'll connect to my devices. I wish i'd just bought Airpods instead.

    Is this really Apple??

These definitely aren't made for sports. Though marketed for the gym, they can't withstand sweat or other liquids.

    Stopped working after 9 days

I got these headphones for doing cardio workouts. The sound was great, and the fit was amazing, so nice not to have to constantly adjust them after I break a sweat,. The Sweat resistance so advertised on its packaging really attracted me to the product, As I sweat a ton during my cardio workout. Sadly after 9 days of ownership and seven workouts, they will no longer turn on or do anything at all. Does anyone know where the weak point is? I am exchanging them tomorrow, and ill try putting a little bit of electrical tape over the micro USB during work outs, its a real bummer I love the fit, battery life, ease of pairing, and sound.

Come on its so close to being a perfect product

    RIP OFF!!!!!

These are the worst headphones that i have ever purchased. The Powerbeats 2 were so much better. My fourth pair of these headphones broke at the gym today. MY FOURTH PAIR OF $199 HEADPHONES! I have finally given up on the apple care replacements and i am going to spend the money and try another pair of headphones. Never buying another pair of Beats again

    Awful experience, do not buy.

Within one week they started giving me trouble. First few days I chalked it up as random quirks/glitches. However, I quickly found out it was the headphones. Here is what happens: I only use them for working out. They randomly raise the volume, lower the volume, and even lower the volume until the sound is muted. I also use an app with workout video classes for cycling and these headphones will constantly pause my workout videos and start playing my music! I have to constantly fight with them to get my workout videos to resume which is incredibly frustrating when you're in the middle of a workout. They also randomly activate siri which I have set up to only activate by "hey siri" voice command so there isn't any possibility of it being activated by an accidental button press. All in all, I hate this things. Nothing worse than constantly being interrupted mid workout. They only have one job to do (play my media) and they fail at it. Pro tip, buy these at Costco if you're not convinced by all these negative reviews because they will at least give you your money back instead of just replacing them for the same worthless product.

    Beats3 Wireless Earbuds!

Great sounding headphones! But the quality is very poor. Been through 5 pairs in the last year. Luckily I had the protection plan with each set. Although it says their meant for fitness and running, I don’t t recommend either if you want them to work for an extended period; months or years. Looking for another brand now as I am not impressed with these at all.

Keep dying in very short periods of time

I always get a replacement, and love the way they fit in my ear and perform during my run, but can never count on them since they always die.

Went through 7 pairs in 11 months

Great sound. But they break, eventually. Apple is great in replacing them. But one must be prepared to make a trip every few weeks to get a refurbished pair.

    Do Not Buy

Have gone through 2 pairs of these now and had the same results. The built, fit and sound quality are great...BUT they WILL brick on you. Same exact thing happened to two pairs where the red light will be on like it's charging, but when taken off the charged (even after multiple days) it will not power up. There's no reset or software upgrade that will work. Sweat from workouts is toweled off afterwards and kept in a dry, safe place. I do not write reviews often, but until this malfunction is fixed this product should not be sold or purchased. Apple/Beats should be ashamed to sell these for this amount of money, especially with the average ratings being under 2 stars.

    Poor Quality; Not Durable

Highly recommend buying another brand if you plan to use these headphones for workouts - which is ironic since the product is marketed for workouts. The materials don't hold up against sweat and your headphones will be falling apart in no time!

SAD TO SAY...NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY...OR TIME !

MORE TIME SPENT RETURNING THESE TO STORE THAN ACTUAL USE !!!

Having only exchanged my faulty 3rd pair for a brand-new 4th littl eunder a month ago....I regrettably must nowwrite a NEGATIVE REVIEW for the 1st time in 20yrs using Apple product(s).

Less than 10 runs into my new wireless beats 3 and already full charge is depleted within a 2hr run/gym session....on purchase/exchange these last for DAYS on a SINGLE Full charge cycle.

I'd go for an alternative and WISHED ID NOW READ THESE REVIEWS THOROUGHLY BEFORE BUYING: Apple should really be recalling this clearly faulty product: 90% of the serious runners I know have now sent theirs back or indeed had to exchange them now ...in my Run-Club (in a HUGE RETAILERS STORE) they even now recommend we BUY ALTERNATIVES as their tired of sending people back to Apple and still having same issues only days/weeks later!!!

    One very FRUSTRATED BUYER (GLASGOW).

LOOK MAGIC....WORK TERRIBLY....CLEARLY NOT SWEAT-PROOF WHATSOEVER AND THUS SHOULD BE RECALLED AS SUCH !!!

    Great Sound, Poor Design

I really like the convenience of these, and they were comfortable, however, the piece that goes around the ear broke off very easily on mine. I was going to send them in to be repaired but unfortunately, my dog decided to chew on them. I would purchase them again but I fear that the same piece will break off again.

    Don't Buy

I paid the hefty price for these headphones hoping they would be durable. They broke in less than 10 days. The sound wouldn't play in the left headphone.

I've probably owned 4 different over the ear bluetooth powebeats and all have broken in under a year.

    Sounds great when it works

I purchased these headset in September almost exactly 30 days later it stopped working. Best Buy refunded me my money so i was able to buy another pair. I've had the new pair for 10 days and it's now malfunctioning. I workout almost everyday and having music is an essential part of my workout so this is a big inconvenience for me. After I spent all of this money for premium headphones that are constantly failing I now need to scramble and find an alternative. My advise to anyone who reads this is if you don't mind paying a lot of money for a headphones that will eventually stop working within weeks from when you start using it then go ahead and buy these.
