    Absolutely not worth your money

    My sister had PowerBeats 2, had to replace them once and they have been fine since. I purchased the PowerBeats 3 in December 2016 and have had to replace them 4 times. I take perfect care of them, but for some reason they DO NOT hold up beyond 2-3 months. I have complained numerous times to customer service about my dissatisfaction and basically was told to “be positive” and “maybe the next pair will be better.” Absolute garbage of a product. I wish I had spent my $200 elsewhere because by this December I will be unable to replace them. Will certainly not be purchasing Beats again due to the poor quality of their products and especially customer service.

    Done with Apple

    I have been on the fence about whether or not to leave Apple, and my most recent purchase of their Powerbeats3 wireless headphones made the decision a lot easier for me. My second pair just went out after a few months of use. After looking at these reviews, it is obvious that they are not concerned about blatantly stealing $200 from thousands of their customers over a clearly defective product without offering any way to make it right. It was the final straw that made me decide not to splurge for the new iPhone X, but instead to switch over to the Samsung Galaxy S8. Goodbye Apple.

    Worst headphones I’ve ever owned

    On my 3rd pair in 5 months.

    Apple refuses to acknowledge they have a deeply flawed product, which I guess shouldn’t surprise anyone.

    These headphone are not fit for purpose. They are too fragile for using while doing sports etc. They are not sweat or even light rain restaint. Both of mine just died after a couple of uses.

    You know it’s really bad when the tech support team doesn’t even want to troubleshoot the product over the phone but say. ‘Just sent it back’’ ....again.

    Don’t buy this product. It’s a waste of money.

    Terrible product that I would not recommend to anyone

    I've had my Powerbeats for close to 2 months now and I first noticed some problems with the battery life, which was terrible and I would have to charge it constantly. I worked out with them another time and all of the sudden they just turned completely off and now won't charge and have no indication of turning on. This is such a shame, because I really liked the product and it had decent sound quality besides some inconsistency with the Bluetooth. I would not recommend this product to anyone who is looking for headphones to work out with, because I believe mine broke from sweat getting in to the headphones, which goes against the "sweat-proof" ability that they market. Looks like I will be going with Jaybirds for my next workout headphones because anything must be better than this horrible product that I spent $200 on!

    Waste of money and poor addition to the Powerbeats lineup

    I love my Powerbeats 2 but after breaking the ear clip out of warranty I decided to “upgrade” to the Powerbeats 3. Nice little pop up when pairing but that’s the only thing worth mentioning. I couldn’t believe how poor the sound quality is compared to the PB2. I couldn’t believe my ears I did multiple sound comparisons with these headphones with my ears and others just to insure there was no bias in this review. I even had to put my Apple DEVICES away and use my Note 8 which has dual Bluetooth output to make sure I wasn’t demanding more of the PB3 than I know the Beats’ brand is capable of. During that comparison it was obvious the PB3 lacked in sound quality tremendously compared to the PB2. I’m probably going to gift this set to someone who just want to have a Beats logo on their side but these are a disgrace to the brand. My PB 2 got me thru my work days and workouts with no problems with battery life. It was a poor decision to sacrifice high fidelity sound for 12 hour battery. A high quality/ output charger can recharge in under a hour. I can’t justify any reason to recommend these to anyone everyone I know has at least 15 minutes to charge up to gain hours of use. The sound quality is comparable to the $30 Tao whatever brand off amazon that last 5 plus hours off full charge. I’m going to find me a pair of PB2 here real soon poor sound quality is poor sound quality no matter what you use these for. The previous model is a better product imo people go for this brand because of the quality of sound and the wow effect. It’s impressive to see what Beats can do in a small package but the Powerbeats 3 is a failure .If the quality of sound doesn’t matter you can buy multiple sets of other head phones and save your self a $100

    Bad quality earphones. Do not buy....

    I bought these early in spring of 2017. Two months later, one of the earbuds went out and I had to send it back under warranty . Apple sent me a new pair and I thought the first one might have been a defective one, so I was willing to give it another try. Fast forward to 3 months later, the earphone gave out on me again , but it was still
    Under the warranty . I got my third pair a few months ago and now, my 3rd pair complete cracked and broke in half. These are really bad quality earphones and not worth the $150 price tag. Do your research and get some better ones. It's not worth the money , especially since they will only last up to a year and break on you. Now my warranty is over and I'm left with a broken pair of earphones. For the price tag, you would expect more.'im very disappointed .

    Don’t buy! if I can give no stars I would.

    This will be the third time that I will be sending my Powerbeats3 to be worked or”diagnosed”. I’m super sad about. I bought my son a pair for Christmas and I liked how sleek they were. So I buy myself a pair. The battery life is definitely not 12hrs. I’m lucky if I get through my whole workout. That’s even fully charging them the night before. I sent them back and they said they ran a full diagnostic and found nothing. I get them back...what do you know not holding a full charge...again. So I will keep sending back till my warranty runs out. Should have went with the jbirds like my brother said. A little bit cheaper and he says the quality sound is better

    Powerbeats

    Incredible product failing every 3 months. The first 2 failures have been replaced within waaranty. The third failure and the dealer told me that 1 year warrant period is finished: no replacement anymore. This is unacceptable. If the producer knows that product is failing, it should even be refunded. Powerbeats never again.

    THESE HEADPHONES ARE NOT SWEAT PROOF

    I was super excited about using the Powerbeats 3 and had saved up for a good pair of wireless headphones. $170 and not even two months later these headphones turn off automatically during my workout and then won't charge up/turn on again. I am so bummed because I purchased these at Target without a warranty and will not be getting my money back. Apple, please do not say a product is sweat proof if it isn't. Please also recall this faulty product. I'm very disappointed and wish I hadn't saved up to purchase these. EVERYONE, I hope you read this review along with others when making a decision to buy wireless headphones. (Or get a warranty if you're okay with replacing these every couple
    months.)

    These are garbage!!!!

    Apple is the worst company on the planet!!! These headphones were supposed to be water resistant but like every other review they aren't and now I'm out $200 bucks already sent these in twice!! I hope they burn!!!

    DO NOT BUY.

    On my second pair now, first pair lasted me 3 weeks, second paid 4 weeks, and now I have to go back to store to get them replaced again, which is really annoying me now. They are NOT sweat proof. Constantly skipping tracks, Volume goes up and down all the time, even launches SIRI on its own. This is REALLY frustrating when you are working out listning to your tunes. THEY NEED TO RECALL THESE.
    This is a VERY EXPENSIVE bit of kit for anyone, so for them not to reacall soon would be of very bad form from APPLE.
    My advice, DO NOT BUY.

    I've looked at these reviews and NO!

    I've had my beats for almost a year now and my mother recently lost hers but she actually had it for a year; We both use them for working out and every day use and have had no issues. I came to order my mother a new pair but I saw the rating and decided to reading these reviews and all of these problems is ridiculousness and it really sounds as if one person is writing them. As I said my mother and I both use them for our workouts and I've even dropped mine in the toilet; I have yet to have a problem with the sound or it stop working on me. The most I got is the piece that goes around my ear breaking out and that literally just happened the other day, that could be the only reason for me to send mine in for some new ones. As for the Volume I saw a comment saying the Iphone headphone are louder they are not the volume on here is great I never had my volume on it's highest and it's still loud enough for me to drain out extra noise. Also noise cancellation when you're using it while you're on the phone perfect; the person on the other hears you not everything around you.

    Awful

    These had the potential to be incredible, and they were - for about 2 days. They keep breaking and cutting out, and are in no way designed for exercise. I had high expectations after using WIRED PowerBeats2, which have worked for 2 years (still going strong), but these shouldn't even be allowed to be sold. Do not buy these, they are so so faulty. I'm now on pair number 4 in less than a month!!

    I just buy my powerbeats3 3months ago and its busted already..its charging but wont lass like 3mins of use and turn out dead batt again..bring back my money apple!!!!!!!!!!

    Keep the receipt

    These are great when they are working but after just a few months they stop holding their charge. Now I have to charge then for a few hours to get 30 minutes use. Big waste of money. I wish I’d read the reviews before I bought them. Seems 9 out of 10 people have the same problem. Don’t buy!

    Issues

    First pair wouldn't hold a charge... got a new pair several weeks later... used the 2nd pair for a few weeks, no the microphone is inop. Going back in the get pair number 3. Definitely not worth the money.

    0 stars is the correct rate

    At the beginning of write a review you can read 'Your experiences and opinions will help others make decisions before they make important purchases'

    So if you a runner or in general a person who uses Powerbeats during sweaty workouts DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

    They will fail after some months cause they are not sweat or water proof

    Sure apple will change them under warranty but eventually the warranty will end then what.
    Also they need some days to give you a new pair

    So to sum up. Powerbeats are great but fail every few months.

    So apple what product we suppose to use with our Apple Watch? A third party?
    Just check the rate. Its the worst apple product in years
    Fix it!!!!

    Not sweat proof - changed 3 times in 3 months

    This product is not sweat proof. I am now on my 3rd pair of headphones within 3 months and all have more or less the same problem. after few minutes of work out, volume level goes down to zero. Also power stays in the on position and one has to put it for charging to get the device to turn off.
    I would not even recommend this product even if they were giving it as a free promotional product. In spite of so many complaints and being well aware of the issues they have as yet not announced a recall for this product and continues to sell it . I would really recommend them to take this product of the market.
    There is a design flaw with the product and sooner Apple resolves it, better for them to salvage their reputation. This product definitely spoils the reputation of Apple which is generally known for top quality. Seriously this is a zero star product.

    Not suitable

    I bought my power beats somewhere around late august, I expected the sound to be crisp and loud like one of their other beats, but they can't even compare to the factory headphones that comes with the iphone. The iPhone headphones had more of a kick than these, later around September the ear hook seemed irregular like it was out of its spot. I come to find out that it's on the edge of breaking and coming off the beats entirely. The hook on the left ear is the problem. I bought some knock off wireless headphones for 20 dollars before these and they were still louder and lasted longer than these. Definitely not worth the 200 I spent, I hope beats or apple have a solution for this, a change would be recommendable.
