    PowerBeats 3

Within 1 year i had to get it replaced 4 times and going for my 5th. I really like the headphones but it's so frustrating how many times I had battery issues and my 4th one just stopped turning on. The support and the service has been great but they really need to fix these issues. The battery issue is common and to see with the 3rd generation, they still have the battery issue which they should really think about fixing it. I giving 3 stars because I like the fast charge and the way it wraps around my ear while I' working out and the sound but I would have given 1 star if the I didn't like the things I like.

These are simply amazing & sound great... they’re great for calls, too.

I have the Beats 2 and wanted to try these. I was not sure they’d be better, but they are. They fit so much better and really give a better and sealed fit to show case the sound. I was so surprised at how great they sound when making a call. I use them for work calls all the time. That is an added bonus. In short, they are a great upgrade that is really worth it. The quick pairing and range of more than 30 feet is fantastic. Get them and enjoy.

Ok, but short life for price

I posted this review on Beats site but wanted to put it here too:

These headphones are ok while they work. Unfortunately, they generally last about 2 months before they slowly die. It starts with spotty connectivity, then the remote stops functioning, and finally the device becomes entirely unresponsive. I’ve had these 9 months and am on my third pair now, which is starting to die, too. So soon to be 4th pair. At least Apple swaps them out while they are under warranty

    Beyond frustrating

I had the highest of hopes for Power beats3. Got them for a Christmas gift last December. But by March they had a soft wear issues and would not stop flashing red on the power light. So I sent them back to Apple and they sent me a refurbished pair. They worked great for 2 days before they had issues and kept cutting out. I'm done with Beats of any kind, you can keep your over priced headphones. Poorly made for the price point.

    Great Bluetooth Earphones

I just got the Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones today. I used to have the Powerbeats2. Definitely these new ones are way better than the older model. The sound quality has improve. Battery is exceptional. I used the earphones for about 3 hours in my workout and the battery went down from 100% to 87%. The old model drained the battery more. These are great.

The ear hook detached within 2 months!

I was using these earphones for nearly 2 months and was very satisfied until the left ear hook got detached and the audio on the left earphone no longer works!

    Disappointing unfortunately

I have used this set for 6 months now. I bought them for sports (running that is) as I run 2-3 times a week.

The quality of the sound is amazing BUT

after 5-6 months they just stopped working. After a thorough online research I have found out the most likely possibility. Sweat and moisture gets in the mic and this blocks the battery so eventually the earphones stop working. Totally unacceptable when they are promoted as sweatproof.

I have sent them back and still waiting from the retailer to send me a new pair as they are under guarantee. And that was two months ago. I've noticed that many people that had the same issue with me (maybe people that sweat a lot) had the same problem with the second or even third pair.

I love APPLE and this is the only time that failed me.

I hope they can resolve this in the future.

    Terrible connection...

I've only had these a week and I'm already experiencing the same problems other people here have explained. My powerbeats3 won't stay connected to my iPhone for more than 10 seconds. I really enjoyed them while they worked, but seriously, $200 for headphones that last one week?! No way. I'll be returning.

Beats3 Wireless Disconnects from Bluetooth (Disappointed Service Member)

As all the other reviews concerning the dropping from bluetooth with these powerbeats3 (wireless) are true. I'm in the military currently deployed overseas (can't say where) and I've purchased the beats3 wireless to use when doing cardio. Well as people have been mentioning these I too onky get 20-30 minutes before they deconmect from bluetooth and unable to reconnect unless I reconnent it to charge (though it's fully charged) AND clear it from my bluetooth list then reconnect it later as if it's new to pairing with my phone. Whats said is I also have a pair of "beats solo wireless" which I'd purchased 3 months into this year long deployment and solely use when lounging at the base recreation center and weight training. Absolutely no issues with bluetooth dropping from my beats solo wreless and that too clearly holds it's charge as well. Considering the bulkiness of the beats solo wireless is why I purchased the beats3 wireless to use for cardio days (running or anything where I'd be jumping).
In short I paid $179 on base for beats3 wireless and it only lasted a month before the issues of bluetooth disconnecting started. Yes, I've tried all the recommendations provided by apple (via their sight..resetting, disconnect and reconnect...etc) but being overseas in the dessert I just can't walk into an apple store as some people are doing. I have several buddies who have beats3 wirless too but they purchased theirs when Dr Dre still owned the company....seriously they aren't having any of these issues myself and others are speaking of. Still on deployment and have to use my iphone wired headphones that came with the iphone. I have the iphone 6s so maybe theres a softwarenossue with the pairing of the beats3 wirless and the 6s... who knows. With all these complaints involving the general same issue you'd think they actually put that out and provide an update to install. I guess now...smh

Very good sound. Super long battery life. Water resistant. Very comfortable. Extremely durable. Everyone who says these are bad is a clown.

    My choice for exercise

First let me say that I also own a pair of Apple AirPods. I wish that these Powerbeats3 were more of like my AirPods. I do not love the strap that connects the headphones because if my neck is sweaty during exercise, it catches on my neck. I wish that these did not have a connecting strap. Also I wish that they would have chosen to use the Apple lightning charger cable rather than a special Beats cable. Those are my biggest issues.

A good: I love using them for exercise, the battery life is amazing, and the sound is pretty good. Granted I do not have the volume cranked up because I run outdoors. I would not want to run in my Apple AirPods so these are great to own. The price is a little higher than I like but they have been very trustworthy, connect easily, and stay connected.

Started off perfectly, but after 3 months the battery no longer charges no matter how much I charge them. Really disappointing

    These are RUBBISH!!!!

So I have had 3 pairs of Powerbeats2 and one pair of Powerbeats3. They say that they are sweat resistant, but I do not think they are. I use them during normal running where the seem to work for a few weeks then stop. My current pair (Powerbeats3) the power light stays in and they do not connect. Are not recognised by my iPhone 7 or Nike+ Apple Watch. Apple really need to do something about this, they have put their name to a terrible product. Off to the Apple Store to hopefully get another replacement. Let's see how that goes. Do not buy these headphones if you want to use them to work out!!!

Worked fine at first, then after a month they stop working. Try resetting, connect them to my computer, nothing, 0% dead. Never buying beats again for the price quality should be better. Had cheap gas station earphones last longer!

    Will not hold up

Loved these at first, but after a year of moderate use at the gym they have broken. The piece that fits in the hear has broken completely off of the housing where the charging unit is. If I could attach a photo I would love to show people what you're getting. I took great care of these and never abused or crammed into a storage pouch. For $200, keep shopping. I was out of warranty window and the cost to repair is $99... not worth the additional expense!!

Started off as a love affair with this product, but this week they simply stopped charging and no amount of coaxing will bring them back to life. I see many US reviews complaining of similar problems. Care to comment Apple?

    Not worth the price

I bought them because of the battery life, and in most instances I never had an issue with the battery. However, the microphone is terrible, best case it sounds like I'm in a tunnel, worst case it drags on my skin or a piece of clothing subjecting the person I'm talking to to an awful piercing sound. The rubber ear buds come off all the time unless I'm extremely careful. For $199, I shouldn't be concerned with losing a part so easily.

The strap is also a pain. Truth be told I bought them for the strap so I could keep them around my neck when not in use and for that they were fine (as long as I wasn't doing anything too physical that would cause the rubber caps to pop off). However, when wearing them, they all too often catch on me or my clothes and pull or tug. And finally, the build quality feels cheap. I finally got a pair of AirPods and they feel like a premium product (with a really great microphone).

Good sound, but battery will no longer charge (dead).

I liked the look, feel, and sound produced by this product. However, the battery will no longer charge. It's stuck at 0%. This happened after about 1 month of light use. The Beats Updater web app shows their battery level stuck at zero. RIP.

I got my earphones in 5.on January, I used only in gym 5times a week, after 2 months suddenly stoped working, it's not the battery, charged the day before. Probably not sweat resistant! Doesn't worth the price !
