    Not good for working out

My power beats 3 kept breaking so I got a pair of the beats x. They are super awkward and make working out a hassle. They fall off all the time when bending over or even doing some incline/decline work. The piece that you have to put on yourself to keep in your ear is super cheap and super uncomfortable. The sound quality is nowhere near the power beats 2 and 3. The weights that keep the headphones on your neck is horrible and so annoying. I would not recommend these to anyone even though I love all my beats headphones I have ever had. They are just all cheap. Luckily they have great customer service to keep sending me new ones.

    Waste

The beats are a joke. Yes Dr Dre did sign with Apple. But why would I buy some head phones that cause as much as my shoes. Ppl and their fashion are ridiculous. I rather spend my money on some gummy budz from was wal mart for 10 dollars and still have money to enjoy doing stuff.

    NOPE

Worked first day out of the package, now they wont turn on. When I charge and connect them to my laptop, everything was OK. Even connected them to the updater tool, and updated the firmware, and the updater software recognized them and told me battery was at 100%. Will not turn on, will not reset. This was my first pair, and will most likely be my last. Not even ONE DAY of use, about 2 minutes on a test phone call, then into the case. Will be returning them.

    Waste of Money!

Do not buy this product, mine only lasted for 10 days with casual use. There are thousands of people taht have experienced this, one day its ok then the next its dead. You would expect better quality from beats and apple and especially since the product costs $150, but this is a total piece of JUNK!!! The sound quality is not even that good. I bought a $25 bluetooth headphone from amazon that sounded better than this piece of waste!

Do not buy this, its a complete waste of money!!!

    Very disappointed

I was very excited when I first got these earphones then after I paired them , I was very shocked because the sound quality was not what I expected , my Powerbeats 2 that I have had for over a year now , sound a lot better than these. I'm very disappointed with beats

    Terrible Sound

Great idea to make wireless earbuds but the sound needs to be way better. These are TERRIBLE buds. I would rather use the headphones that come with my iPhone than use these. Definitely look somewhere else if you want wireless earbuds. Beats also won't return your purchase if you open package and try the ear buds out so don't try to see how the sound quality is!!!!

Often doesn't work with other tech

You are unable to hear your own voice when on a call, the earbuds block out most the sound, other isolating headphones play the sound from the mic in the earbuds. Good for music, bad for meetings or phone calls.
You are unable to use them while charging.
They stop working sometimes, just stop playing. Need to reconnect to phone or laptop.
Sometimes when listening to music and accept a call, the call is played via the phone and not into the headphones.
When using them with an apple laptop and receive a call, if you accept the call on the laptop via facetime, phone answers and plays on phone, not headphones. Three times out of four.
Can't recommend as a product, especially considering the expense.
Magnets on earbuds are a good feature. Sound quality ok.

    Major Design Flaw!

When I first got my Beats X I was very satisfied with the product itself. However in the past weeks I've had some negative experiences with my Beats X. After taking the earbuds out of their case, my Beats blinked white three times and then shut off. I later was able to figure out that this is caused due to the magnetic earbuds. When the earbuds are in their case the magnetic part comes into direct contact with either the battery compartment or the logic board compartment and therefore bricks the earbuds for five to ten minutes. This is a MAJOR design flaw on Beats' part and you'd expect more technological experience from them. In my opinion they should issue a complete recall of either the entire product or the case, manufacture a new case and replace the old ones and update their website to inform people regarding the magnetic interference and what exactly the 3 times blinking LED means.

    The Most Disappointing Headphones Ever

I find these headphones to be entirely substandard. The sound is thin & tinny with almost zero bass response. Not only would I not pay $150 for these, but I got them for free & would like a refund.

    Excellent Connection

Had these paired to my Apple TV (4th Gen) while watching a movie. Got up to get something from another room, about 20 feet away and through several walls, without even a hint of audio connection issues. Other Bluetooth headphones I've used couldn't even do that from my pocket.

Great earphones, really easy to setup and use!

I really love the earphones they worked great out of the box and paired easily with my Android phone. Sound is good and controls are intuitive. I did have trouble with one of the "secure fit wingtips" breaking which is annoying. Trying to figure out how to get a replacement but it isn't obvious.

    Over.....rated......and priced

Got these as part of a promotion when I got my new Mac, so they were free. Charged them and put them in. One driver, sound is nice - the other muted. Called Apple they told me to go to Apple Store for a "quick exchange". Went to store and, after 40 minutes of two people trying to process exchange, told me to call Apple Online. Right back where I started.

Their only saving grace is they were free. Better options out there.

No Sound notification while Call Connect or Disconnect

Hi All, BeatsX Headphones after my 12 days of extensive use are missing the following: a) Sound Notification for Call connect or disconnect b) Information on the amount of battery remaining (no light indicator, as its next to impossible to see the indicator while you have the Beatsx Headphones on you) c) Allow connecting atleast 2 Bluetooth devices at any time (Bose and other leading Bluetooth headphones allow connecting to 2 Bluetooth) It's a bit frustrating to connect every time when I swap between my iPad and Android phone. d) An application that allows to perform soft level customization. Beats team to enlighten my knowledge if you already have solution to the above.

    Amazing

I actually bought a MacBook and got the beatsX for free, but I would definitely pay the money to get them. The packaging was incredible and the headphones them self are out of this world. Everyone that I talk to on the phone can hear me clearly and same way goes for them. I can hear them loud and clear. I would recommend them.

    Wouldn't turn on. Couldn't reset.

I purchased these in Feb 2017, by July 2017 they wouldn't power on. Plugged into different USBs for varying amounts of time 30mins to an hour, no LED(red), then LED(white) indicates, full charge - but won't power on. Tried doing a reset - nothing. I'm trying to get a refund from Apple (PITA). I do not like products that do not deliver reliable quality, this was my first and last experience with Beats.

    Fantastic Option!!

I purchased this product because of my impatience for the 6-week shipping of the Apple AirPods. I also thought this design was more sleek and less odd-looking than the AirPods (just my opinion). This is my first Beats device, and I must say they are amazing! I've been very pleased with the overall sound, including the richness, bass, clarity and crispness. I was not expecting the noise cancellation to be as good as it is, which certainly adds to the listening experience. They are super-compatible and very easily connected to my iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch! The battery life is as good as advertised, which means a lot coming from someone who is constantly listening to music, podcasts or engaged in long conversation. They are so comfortable to wear that it is easy to forget they are around your neck. The magnet is a very nice convenience and you can also tuck them inside your shirt when not in use. I couldn't be more surprised and pleased! Highly recommend!

    Nearly ideal

These are almost perfect bluetooth headphones. Once you get used to it, the W1 chip is a pleasure — I frequently switch between my Mac and iPhone, and this makes that much quicker. The sound quality is totally fine but is a tad below my threshold of best quality. If it were a little bit better I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and better headphones. Battery life is pretty good, but I'm spoiled by a previous pair that lasted 24 hours. Form factor is exactly right.
