    Cheap.

Positives: They sound quite nice. Comfortable. Portable.
Negatives: I've had to replace mine 4 times since I first purchased, they either stop turning on or earpieces break.

Overall I am pretty disappointed but I love my headphones. It's just that They don't stop breaking.

    Decent sound, poor mic quality

Pros: Decent sound, W1 Chip integration is now a must-have, battery life
Cons: Mic quality is poor...I am constantly told to repeat myself during phone calls. The flex form cable can be annoying during workouts or running when it falls out of place

In retrospect I would have bought AirPods

Completely dead after a few weeks.

These headphones worked great for a few weeks, but then went completely dead. Wouldn't hold any charge whatsoever. This seems to be a common issue with this product. Stay away.

DO NOT BUY THESE THEY ARE GARBAGE

Had these for one year and have had to have them replaced 3 times now, 2 times for them completely not working and one time for the volume button not working. Beats/ Apple should be ASHAMED of themselves for selling such a piece of garbage to customers, especially for what we paid. The warranty should be extended on all of these, I looked online after the first incident and hundreds of people were having the same issues. Waste of my money.ZERO STARS

Worth the money (just not full price)

Good not great sound, the default silicone buds fit in my ears near perfectly, in high traffic areas I take one out for a little bit better Situational Awareness. Magnetic clip so they don't dangle loosely around your neck is wonderful. The fact they recharge using the default apple connector is the clincher of why I bought it.

The Bad: Cannot see the led easily when worn, I end up pressing it a few times to make sure it is on. Mag clips should turn the earbuds off when they clip together, this fact cost you 2 stars.

Should be better for the name and cost

Not a good option for weightlifters. Laying on flat bench or decline, they hang back and need readjusted against neck when you sit up. or they fall off onto the floor. Sound cuts out when I raise hands into the air trapping charger part between shoulder and neck. I thought some of these issues was my pair but same problem with replacement pair. Also volume doesn't go very loud at all.

Great product, but it has flaws

Great product with easy pairing to my iPhone. It only took a matter of seconds, and it was smooth and flawless. I also really liked the fast-charging, and especially the lightning cable! It makes it so much easier for iPhone users, having to just remember one cable. The big selection of "wings" and different earpieces was also a nice addition. And last but not least, the magnet "clipping" the two pieces together was pretty helpful when you are walking around. I think the cable was a little too long for my taste, especially because it was kind of stiff. You have to hide the long wires down in your sweater, which is pretty annoying at times. But, it may be different for taller persons, because then the extra height will compensate with the length of the wire. The sound quality could also been a lot better, but it is okay if you do not have very high expectations. But, at the end of the day; these are really good earphones. They are very comfortable in the ears, and do not fall out. Worth the money!

    Poor Quality

Initially I really liked them, but the first pair broke down after two months, and my replacement pair sent straight from Apple also broke down after 8 months. If you Google "BeatsX not charging" you can find many people who have experienced issues -- and the endless troubleshooting which is like an extended game of bop it. Because it's been almost one year since I purchased the original pair, Apple will only stand behind the replacement pair for 90 days. That tells you how much Apple believes in this product.

    Excellent earphones

I got these as part of a free gift with EE. Was planning on just selling them but thought of trying them first. I’m glad I didn’t sell them. They are fantastic. I’ve never been one for beats headphones due to the pricing but these are really worth it. It took a while to get the comfort right for my ear but they fit snug with the numerous wingtips and interchangeable silicon ear pods. Once you get it right the quality is also very very good for such a small device. The battery life is pretty good too, also the range is phenomenal. You can leave your iPhone downstairs and wander around the house seamlessly without any skips jumps or losing its connection once. Set up out the box is also extremely easy. 5/5 for me.

No bass, stopped working after 7 months

Title sums it up. These were ok as far as form factor and ease of charging. But the sound likes punch and they just stopped working after 7 months of use.

Beats X - suck for the $$$$$ you pay

Had for a few months now they wont turn on so you cant reset them. When you pay $$$$ for things you expect them to work. Going back to Boise. Had Boise for a long time & every time I turn them on they work great. Buy Boise save your time and headache

Beats X - great earphones but poor mic quality

Very easy to use, love the fact that they are out of the way when you do not need them in ear. However, the mic quality is under every critic. My cheap £5 earphones work much better. Constantly have to switch from Beats X to regular earphones when doing a voice call.

I am looking to return my beats x.

    weak

Wow -- $150 ?? These suck -- decent quality manufacturing, alas at full volume a total fail -- unusual for Beats -- these are garbage for the money

    Great purchase

I’ve owned the wireless beats 2 headphones, original earbuds, and now the BeatsX and these are by far my favorite. I really enjoy earbuds over headphones so When bought these i was a little skeptical at first but when they arrived I instantly loved them. They fit really well with wing tips. The only improvement I would suggest is longer battery life but a few min worth of charge last me another hour and a half or so it balances out in desperate times. Overall I really enjoy these. The sound is Great for the price. I paid $99 during the holidays

Replaced 4 times in 9 months

These headphones have a lifespan of a couple months and then the audio/ sound goes out. After having them replaced four times, I'm fed up. I thought buying from a such highly praised brand would have ensured the quality of these headphones. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED! If you are looking for temporary headphones which will need replacing every 2 months, you have come to a great place. If not, don't buy these.

    Sub-par product

I’ve used these for six months. I like the idea of the product but it has a few flaws. Some people complain about the sound. I find that fine. They’re not audiophile earphones so one shouldn’t expect them to perform as such. As for the design, they’re comfortable on the neck and generally comfortable in the ears. Sound isolation is average. It can be improved with aftermarket tips. I think the in-line remote feels cheap and the buttons are a little flakey. It could also be placed slightly higher on chord and the chords themselves could be slightly shorter. It’s well known (and often complained about) that the war buds are not sweat resistant. While I do consider that a flaw and not something people should need to worry about with a premium brand product at this price point, these aren’t intended to be sports earphones and you can get aftermarket tips (for example, from Comply) that provide a barrier if that’s something you’re concerned about based on your usage. Battery life is decent and they charge quickly. The W1 chip also gives them a good working range. I don’t find that they’re 100% seamless with pairing but they generally work well and are certainly easier to pair than ordinary Bluetooth devices. All that said, I do not recommend buying these. Like many other reviewers, I experienced that they suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. I went to use them one day and they wouldn’t turn on, so I figured they just needed a charge. I plugged them in and could see them charging. They would power on and show 100% battery in the widget on my iPhone. What I quickly came to realize, however, was that although they would charge, they wouldn’t hold the charge for very long, so I had to take them back to the Apple Store. Despite Beats being an Apple brand and despite the earphones being in warranty, they don’t replace them in the store. Instead, they get sent to a service center and a new pair gets sent back to the store after a week or so, which means you’re without the use of the product for a week and you have to make another trip to pick up the replacement pair. I don’t know whether the problem was due to an inherent design flaw or to a manufacturing error, but it was frustrating and has left me with a negative impression of the brand.
