Have had for 5 days, already in Love

Never liked the beats sound before (too much bass, sounded muddy and artificial). These are great. Pretty well balanced sound, Treble can be a bit unruly but can tamed with eq settings on phone. Love the design and ease of use. Good battery life. Siri integration good. Comfortable and they stay in my ears thanks to good choice of fit options (small wingtips for me). So far can't fault them. Am finding my enjoyment of music has increased with these. No idea why but the sound balance really suits me. Very happy

    Great earbuds.

So glad I waited to get these. The sound quality is better than any other earbuds I have tried (both wired and Bluetooth) including some quite high end brands. The sound isolation is very good. would reccomend to anyone wanting good quality sound from bluetooth earbuds. The ease of connectivity with the W1 chip is the icing on the cake.

    Terrible eartips

I was really happy about this earphones. Connection to iPhone is seamless, BUT they won´t connect to my Apple Watch and also eartips broke first time I tried to take them off to replace them with different size. Terrible build quality :-/

    Excellent Product

These earphones are excellent. The sound quality is top-notch, the overpowering bass of old beats is no more, the sound is clear and the mids and highs sound great, and the bass, while down on the old beats, still packs an impressive punch. The build quality is superb, I have no concerns about the cables breaking or the earbuds themselves failing. The Bluetooth connection is rock solid, the range is great and the setup is so easy. These are earphones that punch way above their level, and are definitely worth the purchase

    Amazing! Worth the Wait!

These are fantastic, they are much clearer than I expected for beats. The ability to activate siri is quite useful and the pairing process is easy. The W1 chip is a great innovation from apple. While the fit is not the most secure for me, I have big ear canals, but with the secure fit wingtips they do just fine. Not only that but the battery life is outstanding especially with the fast fuel feature. I would highly recommend these to any IOS user and if you use android there is no reason not to pick up a pair too.

    Super Satisfied

I've always been a fan of in-ear headphones and I've wasted a lot of money on wired earbuds. I decided to experiment with wireless headphones around the time I got my iPhone 6 last year. I admit, I purchased a no frills brand on Amazon to see what it felt like to not be boggled down with the hassle of tangled wires and being inappropriately connected to a hasty fellow straphanger off-boarding a crowded New York City train. I must say, I felt liberated. When the Powerbeats2 went on sale I ran out and grabbed them. They instantly became my primary headphones and I absolutely loved them. So when Apple started teasing us with a wireless in-ear pair of headphones I waited patiently for the release of the BeatsX. Since February 10th 2017 I've effortlessly switched between my IPhone, MacBook and iPad with ease and barely noticed these headphones around my neck. I'm also very satisfied that I'm able to charge my headphones with the same charger I use for my cell phone. Thank you Apple for assisting in making life a little more convenient, one beat at a time.

    No sound on right

For starters, there is no sound coming out on the right side. This is not OK. I also struggle using these on phone calls. It sounds very strange in my head when I can hear my own voice as it seemingly echoes in my head. Sounds around me are louder and exaggerated for example footsteps and closing doors, like in my office. Voices around me and other white noise is muffled and odd sounding which just feels weird

Since Beats came out with headphones Ive always wanted to get a pair but I thought they were always to big and too expensive. Then apple came out with the Airpods and these never fit quite good in my ear because I needed buds. Finally, BeatsX came out then got delayed, but now I have the black pair on release day and they have been around my neck ever since. Pairing is easy, and also the bluetooth range is excellent. My wife has the airpods and I have these. Worth every penny. Thank you BeatsbyDre!!

    Best Pair of Headphones Out

I saw the release of these headphones when Apple held the press conference on the iPhone 7 and I was amazed to see these I've alway been a fan of beats, but for some reason I never liked the Powerbeats wireless, they neve sat right in my ear, so I was happy to see the Beats x they pretty much are the urbeats but wireless well worth the wait. These head phones have great sound, to be completely honest they surpass my Bose sound sports and the connectivity is so much better then the Bose, especially being that I am an all Apple products person. Well worth the wait and at $150 not a bad deal at all I would recommend the Beats X to everyone!!

Can't beat the convenience of the W1 chip as it takes the pain out of pairing Bluetooth devices. Also, as an iphone user, the charging via lightning cable is very convenient since I have chargers everywhere. And charging is made even more convenient due to the fast charging capabilities that really work!! These are very comfortable and fit my ears well. As usual, you millage may vary but they include 3 other ear-tips plus wingtips so I imagine most of the population will be covered as far as comfort and fit. I am no audiophile but these sound just fine to me. Loud enough and the bass is decent. Maybe not as heavy on the bass as other beats products but definitely more than the air-pods and other comparable in-ear style sets. I think with these, sound quality seems better due to the passive noise cancellation with the ear tips. I was surprised how much sound was blocked out.

    Microphonics are an issue

These earphones are comfortable and the sound quality is pretty good, but microphonics were an issue for me. I could hear the thud of my footsteps as I walked and the rustling of the cord as it brushed against my clothes. This makes for a less than ideal listening experience. Decided to return the product.

So far, so good. Early feedback:

I was greatly anticipating these to potentially completely replace my pretty incredible Jaybird X2's. The W1 chip and Class 1 Bluetooth promised much better range and better connectivity with my Apple Watch. I have to say, so far I have not been disappointed. The sound quality is superb, much improved from the Jaybirds. Pairing is as easy as can be (iPhone 7 Plus) and they immediately showed up on my Apple Watch and MacBook too. I ended up using some Comply foam tips instead of any of the included silicone earbuds. I could not get a good fit with any of the included ones plus foam tips are much better for working out than silicone ones. I do wish they had included foam tips in the package as an option like Jaybird does. That said, once I had the comply tips on plus the included wings, absolutely no issues with them coming loose or falling out while working out. The neckband is comfortable and unobtrusive also. It's too early to comment on battery life, but the lightning charge port is extremely convenient as I have those cables everywhere. Also, the range is solid so far, 100m in a clear line of sight no problem. The only concern I have at this point is how they handle repeated exposure to lots of sweat while training. They aren't rated as sweat proof like my X2's but the girl at the Apple Store said they should be fine, and no issues with claiming warranty if not. I'll certainly be testing that aspect of them (after all, most people will be buying these to workout, it would be insane if sweat could kill them). Thus far - highly recommended.

    Surprisingly good!

I wanted a sports-compatible wireless headset for my iPhone 7+; I generally don't like the standard "bud" earphones because they are uncomfortable to me, and believe that a set of well sealed in-ear headphones keeping noise out to begin with is superior to "noise cancelling." The BeatsX were easy to set up, very comfortable with the supplied range of eartips and wingtips, and most surprisingly sound very good. I had come to expect that Beats products would have an over-emphasized (to put it mildly) bass response, but these sound very well balanced with my 70's and 80's rock selections. Highs are very clear, and stereo detail and spatiality is excellent. Barely feels like I have them on, my next workout will be the true test. The magnetic connection to keep the Earphones on your neck when not in use is a clever touch.

I only bought these yesterday and so far I am extremely happy with my purchase. I wanted earphones I could take to the gym and was previously using a set of wired sennheisers which in truth I thought were good. I wanted something wireless to prevent me from knocking them out of my ears during workouts. Happy to say these stayed put the entire time. So I unpacked these beats, pressed the power button and my iPhone 7 instantly found them and paired. What I was most surprised about was the amazing difference of upgrade in sound! So much so that I had to plug in the old sennheisers which suddenly sounded weak and tinny. Siri works great and the microphone (so I'm told from the callers on the other end of the call) sounds clear. I'm heading back in store to buy a set for my partner before she 'borrows' mine.

    Outstanding Wireless Headphones

Well constructed, solid quality, and great sound. Also, the fit is extremely comfortable and setup was seamless. The style was well designed and I find myself wearing them for ease of use. The switching between the iPhone and iPad is seamless as well.

    Great earbuds!

Been waiting for these for five months and it was totally worth it. The range on these things are amazing. I was able to have a conversation on them when my phone was all the way at the other side of the house. Sound is subjective but for what these are the range when listening to music is good as well. Well worth the $150.

    Beats X and Airpods Comparison!

Good things about Airpods: No wires, Case looks nice, Auto pause of music when you take off one

Other than that, Beats X is better in every aspect.
Better looking, Controller, Nice fit, Noise Cancellation, Fast Charge, Better Sound, etc.
And most importantly for Canadians, price difference between Beats X and Airpods in US is like $10
But the price difference in Canada is OMG $40.

Beats X with tax: around $200
    Airpods with tax: around $240
