(WARNING) Don’t get these read those before you do

These things can be good but don’t get it you really don’t want because they can be damaged to easy omg so easy and they can be scratched so easy it’s not even funny. Apple didn’t put out any time to this and not even their phone bc half the their the same stuff on a phone god Apple. Just get Samsung wireless earbuds or whatever because they put time into that stuff. I’m switching to Samsung. Apples bad tbh

Solid sound needs a firmware fix

The AirPods are a solid product. They fit nicely in your ears and don’t fall out which I was skeptical of from issues with the wired headphones that typically come with Apple products. But I think without a wire pulling it down the earpiece is able to actually stay in your ear and not move. The sound is surprisingly good and they are exceptionally light and small. I think I was most surprised at how small everything was including the charging case which is about the size of a dental floss.

My one complaint is that they can only sync with one device at a time, and you have to actually search and pair them to your second device when you change, which is why I took one star away on my review . For the last three years I’ve been using LG HB900 wireless headphones (the kind that hang around your neck and the earbuds are on wires that come up and sit in your ear) and they can connect to two devices at the same time. So, if I’m on the treadmill watching Netflix on my iPad and my phone rings I can simply just answer the phone. That’s not the case with the AirPods which I think could be fixed with a simple firmware update. I’m going to make a suggestion to Apple to do this since it’s very frustrating to have to pick up your phone and answer it and then click the Bluetooth so you can talk on them.

However, outside of that one problem I highly suggest them.

    Hands down the best headphones

Let me start out with this. If you enjoy Apple’s wired headphones and they fit you, these will take headphones to a whole new level. I have tried many different styles, brands, types of headphone, earbuds, etc. these are by far, hands down the best pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. I wear glasses everyday of my life, so over the ear in any shape/form of headphone doesn’t work for me. If there’s removable rubber bits, it is inevitable that I will lose them. No issues with that stuff on the AirPods. They work seamlessly with my iPhone, iPad and Siri. Setting them up was super easy. Once they were paired up with my iPhone, they were set up on all my other devices linked to my Apple account. The quality of sound they produce is incredible. Listening to music is a dream, and I never thought that people would actually be able to hear me, and not notice that i’m using headphones to talk to them to talk to them on the phone. I’m in love with the fact that I can track them with Find My iPhone.

    Worth the wait

It took ten days to receive the AirPods after ordering from Apple online. They fit perfect and the audio is better than the EarPods. Easy to adjust the volume and skip music tracks from the Watch 3, no need to involve Siri in this. Glad to have cut the cord and look forward too enjoying these AirPods. Connection only took seconds. Highly recommend these to those sitting on the fence.

    Left one stopped working

I used these about 25 times. No water exposure, kept in case, etc. Right airpod was always a bit cranky, then it stopped working. I'm buying the bose ones. these are not a sturdy/quality product.

Rich in tech, poor in usability

I’ve been an Apple user since 1984, so I’d like to think I know Apple pretty well. Since Ives and Cook took over, there seems to be major issues arising. Case in point, the AirPods. As a designer myself, I understand that design for design sake is worthless. Apple on the other hand is designing in a vacuum, merely to please themselves. On top of that, Cook and the board of directors are push the faulty products out before they are ready. It’s never occurred to Apple to actually listen to their users. Regarding the AirPods, the tech (and new chip) is top notch. Maybe even 5 stars, but the usability is barely 2 stars. To have Apple gorse our hands to move to wireless is one thing, but to only give us a few options is maddening. The primary problem with the AirPods are the “one size fits all” mentality. If your ears are sized and shaped ideally, you’re in luck, but you have to live with average sound quality. If your ears are too large or too small, you will wrestle with these headphones for months before you finally give up. This headphone shape has been in the Apple system for at least 10 years, so you’d think they would have learned, and this is why Apple is failing its core user base. I think the marketing group may have hijacked the company.

Tim Cook, if you happen to read this review, reach out to me and let’s talk.

    Waste of money

I purchase this product and use it for everyday uses since I needed a wireless headphones to communicate with my peers. Let me fist start by saying the battery life is very short. I was only allowed to use it consecutively for about an hour for talk time. I resorted back to using the basic wired Apple headphones. Also, after about less than 2months of owning, it doesn't hold the charge, After normal charging, it comes on for about 10-20 seconds then beep to die. I'm very dissatisfied and strongly don't recommend this product. I'll b returning this product to the Apple Store for either another brand of wireless headphones or a refund.

    Rubbish!! don’t torture yourself

This is some sort of the most stupidest Bluetooth EarPods I ever used.
The auto detection is dumb, they never connect automatically, u literally got to connect it by pressing ur iPhone.
Durability is also awful, I need to replace my AirPod due to it won’t charge at all. Why it won’t charge? Interestingly the body sweat will oxidized the small tiny little metal piece which uses for charging, and once u sweat the shiny metal, it just won’t charge anymore.

    This is rub_bish

I loved these things until they started getting static

My airpods recently started getting static sounds that randomly cut in and out. It's very frustrating, especially with how much I paid for them... If they're only going to last 14 months then lower your price or fix the issues. I loved these things, and now I won't be buying again.

These actually work incredible well.. I use em every day on long walks. I use them when I watch movies on my iPad. Best of all I use them while driving for phone calls..and I can FINALLY here and converse while driving!!!!! I do love them..

The case lets in a bit of dirt and I do not like that... Case should seal out dust and dirt better.. Sound is exceptional !!!

Great quality, pretty darn great price

I've been wanting Bluetooth earbuds for some time after my previous stint with disliking the Bluetooth Bose headphones I previously had (pain in the rear to deal with, generally uncomfortable for lengths of the time, etc.), and figured I'd check these out. One of the biggest complaints I've heard is that sound quality doesn't match price, but honestly...the sound quality matches what you'd expect from the EarPods also from Apple, and on top of that, the quality is better to me than the $300 pair of the aforementioned Bose headphones I had. Battery goes pretty quick, but the charging cases tops them off in around ten minutes, which isn't terrible at all, along with the fact that the case holds an insane amount of power to recharge the AirPods. Frankly, I've never been happier with earbuds/headphones until now, and I can see myself enjoying these for years to come.

    Great. Then terrible

I got these hoping that they were going to be the new best thing. Unfortunately, I was disappointed I got them and they worked for about two months. I took great care of them and they were amazing. After a while I noticed that one was much quieter that the other. I thought that it was strange. But anyways I went to the store and they told me I had to buy new ones. I couldn’t believe it. I spent $150 on them and they only lasted two months. I much rather use the generic ones that come with the phone.

    Not for everyone

I really wanted to like these, but after a while they hurt my ears and I was constantly fidgeting with them to stay in. Sound is "ok" if you can get them situated correctly. Wife and son love theirs, but I'll be returning mine. For sake of convenience, these are easy to set up and connect on a consistent basis without any issues.

    Get Them!!! 100%

I got a pair for my Girlfriend and I and we absolutely love them. I strongly recommend anyone considering to jump the gun. Its the first Apple product in years thats brought back some excitement. I initially thought the whole idea of carrying around this case would be frustrating but its the total opposite. If they run out of juice it literally takes minutes for them to get a good charge on them!! Most importantly no annoying wires anymore...

    Worst Apple Product

Great in concept and sound! Horrible in function and execution. Actually getting the pods to connect is the biggest deal. Since initial purchase, I have actually had to wait upwards of 30 seconds to 1 minute for the pods to connect to any Apple device. If you have more than one Apple device nearby, good luck! This is especially troublesome since the last iOS update treats us all like morons by telling us Bluetooth will be turned off until tomorrow. How dumb is this? If I turn Bluetooth off, I want it off until I need to turn it back on.

My $30 pair of headphones from Amazon worked much better, even though they were wireless, but hooked with a cord from ear-to-ear.
